See What Our Govermment Is Doing To Our Prostitutes... by Legitideas: 5:25pm On Jun 27, 2016
I heard that commercial sex workers are
being arrested and jailed in Abuja and the
worst ridiculous comment were coming
from men smh! the same men
patronising them are the ones making
noise on social media, have forgotten
everyone is a saint on Fb.

.

Some men are just deceiving themselves,
some of you are the ones patronising
these prostitutes because am sure if they
stay like three months without seeing any
customer, all of them will quit and look
for something else to do.

If you patronise prostitutes, please stop
patronising them, including some married
men with no shame that will abondon
their wives and children at home running
after prostitutes # Spit .

.

If you know you are one of those that
patronise them, please stop if you want
them to change, coming here running up
and down will never stop it when you still
patronise them.

.

For Government!
You don’t address challenges from the
top but from the crux, arresting
commercial sex workers won’t nip the
issue of prostitution in the bud as that
will not effect any transformation in their
lives.

.

An insightful leader(s) ought to identify
what emanated such acts in the first
instance and then delve how it can be
curbed instead of resorting to a “jungle
approach”. (Jailing them).

.

It is noteworthy to submit that some of
the prostitutes are graduates, school
dropouts, some come from “poverty-
stricken” homes, some are frustrated,
some are orphans, etc, they have one
pathetic issue or the other and a sensitive
leader is expected not to add insult to
injuries, a sensitive leader ought not to
crucify them for using their bodies to get
what they want/need having failed in his
responsibility to create jobs because like I
said initially some of them are graduates.

.

Why can’t the Government make
available alternative remedies since he
can’t condone such acts or aren’t they
Nigerians and entitled to live a better life
without being marginalized?

.

The Nigerian Police Force and other
security outfit should quit chasing
shadows and harmless persons; after all,
they can’t allege they don’t patronize
prostitutes so as to quench their
insatiable appetite for sex smh!

.

Note that I’m not supporting/
encouraging prostitution as it is
disadvantageous but my point is arresting
and jailing them will not make any impact
in their lives as they are not criminals but
victims of circumstance.

.

When the ladies are released, what next?

.

For the ladies running their mouth
upanda, are you sure you are better than
them?,or is it because you don't stant by
the road side?
You have millions of boyfriends, after sex
you start demanding money for Brazilian
hair and expensive phones, you want
them to pay you for the sex you have
been giving them? that means you all are
confirm prostitutes, you are just a HOME
PROSTITUTES while they are STREET/
PROFESSIONAL PROSTITUTES.
