2geda with d senate president he was charged wit forging d senate rules. In a sane clime, he would hav tender his resignation. Instead, he wore d Igbo traditional attire go court. An attire synonymous with respect, purity and power. To whip up sentiments and sympthy of d N'digbo. Whereas he was engaged in forgery, he did it for his self ambition. Ask what meaningful contribution has he made to d Igbo region and people since he became a senator in may 2003, about 13 yrs ago. Absolutely NOTHING!
In his very eyes, d GEJ administration came and went, senatoe Ike Ekweremadu could not use his position as a two time deputy senate president to influence d construction of d 2nd Niger Bridge as promised
Erosion is devastating in d entire south east region, what has senator Ike Ekweremadu done to stem d tide? NOTHING! Absolutely NOTHING!
Now d three-time deputy senate president went to d court on charges of forgery dressed in Igbo attire. SHAMELESS MAN!

You can see the problem with our leaders clearly, later on after the expiration of his tenure if people ask why he didnt perform he would scream nepotism or witch hunting...Tell me whose witch hunting him after he did a wrong thing..Before the secure power they identify with the masses, but after victory the pop champagne in glasses they forget the reason they were elected in the first place. The youth need to carry out a revolution in this nation, our leaders have lost focus and the followere are too weak to impact. The onus lies on us to take this nation out of captivity.

There is a grand plan to silence the opposition and push Ndi igbo out. Ekweremadu's cry is valid. APC and Buhari want their puppet in senate leadership so that they can have their way in passing any bills.

And what is wrong with that ? The past pdp presidents always had their puppets as Senate president why not Buhari ? Rather than a thief and disloyal party man anybody will prefer his puppet there so that bills that will actualize their programmes for the people will be passed and on time . PIB that very important bill has been stuck in the N.A. since what did the holy pdp government do to ensure it's passage ?

so u want Buhari puppets in the senate leadership so that his grazing bill and other Islamizing and northernizing bills to be eazily passed so that Nigerians will become slaves to the north? That can't happen because this is not a military regime.

Paranoia
Intolerance of Christians like you is the real problem ,why are you so afraid ? Is it that your religion has lost it , it can no longer convince its followers in the gospel of Christ or is it that there are so many fake men of God out there these days that the message is lost in the crowd of these greedy man?
Who are the slaves to the north ? Those that consistently vote for a northern party line pdp ? Those whose party has zoned its 2019 presidential ticket to the north? Those fighting to enthrone a northern as their party chairman ?
You have islamization Year
You have northernization
You have Buhari phobia
You have APC phobia
All because
You celebrate corruption and the corrupt
Therefore
You are corrupt and an enemy of progress.

Op you really need to shut up. Go to his constituency and ask them what he has done for them. That man,ike ekweremadu, has done so much for his constiutuents. And why are you guys so disturbed with the attire he wore to the court? Why didn't you condemn saraki for putting his native attire?

I am not against the north but against some subjunctive policies of Buhari such as the grazing bill, the removal of officers in our armed forces who are from the south, refusal to deal with Fulani killings in Benue and other southern states etc all this points to the fact that the present government has an agenda. puppets in the judiciary and legislative heads will make everyone defenseless. we need an independent legislative and judicial arm for a healthy democracy.

And what is wrong with grazing bill ? Don't deceive yourself that it's bad try looking at the content of the bill before condemning it . As far as a southerner has the right to move to sokoto or maiduguri and reserves the right to explore the economic potentials in those places it's unfair for anybody to say herdsmen should not be allowed to move to any part of the country to carry out legal economic activities . Hausa/fulani settlements already exist all over the south just like southern communities exist in the north.
If officers from the south have soiled their they should go , southerners still remain in the army and only those found wanting were punished .
Re: Disgracing The Igbo Tradition by amaechi1: 8:39am On Jun 29, 2016
My Brother, what else would have been more show of shame, when the Deputy Senate president decided to write to EU and other international community, who would ordinarily would not remember that is a nation called Nigeria when issue like this comes up in their nation. As beautiful as the write up could be, it lacks content and the Deputy Senate president fail to ask the international what they would have referred him do in situation like this. As those supporting the alleged forger, ask yourself should I be in this situation would both The Senate president and deputy come for their defense. Did you see the character flows displayed by some senators at the court premises.

Enyi mere enyia. People Deceive People.

northerns are Nigerians and are free to move around and live but it is wrong to allocated lands to them free of charge for grazing. they are free to buy lands.

Mr Man,I suggest you take sometime out and do some serious self-searching.
I dare say you've completely lost it.
I wonder how we still have people with your kind of mentality even with the present state of things in the Nation.
Just look at all you've been spewing all over the thread...
And you wonder why there's turmoil and crisis everywhere in this country when some folks still reason like you...
Oriegwu o...
One day...just one very good day, that oil you guys have been fixated on and that has made you lose all sense of equity and humanism will no more be available to you, then you'll start reasoning once more like human beings.

Grazing Bill is impossible to pass because FG can not force states to path with land. The conversion of grazing reserves (14 in total spread across northern states) which has already been established by law in 1979 into ranches is what the grazing Bill wohor address. Any state who also have sizeable land not being used for farming can also utilize the law and develop ranching zones which can be better managed by government taxes and levied appropriately. Think of it as a cattle industrial estate.

The movement of cattle as we know it would be a thing of the past. Enlighten yourself and set your mind free from bondage.

The level of gullibility sinking Yoruba as a tribe is unprecedented. How can a people presume an accused guilty before court verdict?, you are always blaming others, failing to see your ends... I wish you guys good luck. As for the Igbos, we are not mindful of Government free money, we take dignity in our labour.
