Mentions the use of plasmatron for stealth aircrafts shocked shocked shocked

A device for generating plasma is called Plasmatron. The plasma so generated covers the whole aircraft.

Kaveri was producing noise in the high throttle spectrum and researchers at drdo were unable to predict whether the noise is an influence aerodynamic performance and rectify the same.

Now under the terms of the partnership finalized late last year, Snecma is working to modify, certify and integrate the Kaveri on a Light Combat Aircraft airframe before 2020.

The noise in high throttle is a key issue being placed before France's Snecma for the remaining path to certification. The problem is with the core , which will be replaced with M88 core and rest of the engine will remain same except for some tweaking.

A later phase in the partnership will involve modifications on the Kaveri for a twin configuration on In/dian AMCA fifth generation fighter concept and an altered non-reheat version for the UCAV Ghatak.

On January 3 this year, the Safran Group created and advertised for the new position of Director for the Kaveri engine program. The deal is worth 1 billion dollars and is part of the 50% offsets from the Rafale sale.

Deal will be signed formally when the French President visits next month

Once this is done India will have her own engine minus the core, the French have given sovereign guarantee regarding its use and export as deemed fit by in/dia , the experience gained will later allow to modify the Kaveri core to remove the present shortcomings.

The cylindrical shaped object enclosed in the glass box to the left of Kaveri engine is the core also known as kabini core, this one is creating the problems.

And there are dunderheads who think they'll sustain it through fees from the Ethiopian railway, not realising the Ethiopians have shrewdly cancelled out those fees through the water pipeline. The leases are Djibouti's major forex earner and a distant 2nd is salt. Even with the status quo, it's impossible to see how they manage to honour the terms of their Chinese debt.

Minor correction: it's not Djibouti thinking they're playing the world. It's their current dictator Guelleh mortgaging future generations. Just like Mobutu with Zaire/DRC and countless other nincompoops on our continent.

He is the nephew of the first prez and has changed the constitution to run again and won the election-predictably the election rejected his win. How does that make him a nincompoop? On one level he rules a desert that exports only salt while his citizens are hungry for infrastructure development. What were his options, apart from the Chinese gamble? IMF,foreign commercial loans, maybe Jean-Fraude former coloniser can come through with a few billion and a decade grace period and minus 5% interest? I don't think so. Imo,he saw perpetual poverty took a gamble-that doesn't, shouldn't make him a nincompoop.

"We’re in Afrin today, Manbij tomorrow", Sultan Erdogan.

Methinks Erdogan overreaches, and that will be his overdue downfall. The Iranians, Hizb'Allah and Russians have not expended blood and treasure only to have Assad's unclothedness exposed by the Ottoman dreamer who facilitated Daesh.

Guelleh is a dictator and to add insult to injury, a nincompoop.
As a dictator he has fiat over strategic real estate in demand by various competing powers at the moment. And what does this salt merchant do with it? He mortgages it all to only 1 of those competing powers. If that's not a nincompoop, I don't know what is.

Any chances of a Nuclear Powered Laser or Rail Gun?

If one has a nuclear powered cruise missile then having a nuclear powered laser or rail gun is childs play

Nuclear powered ship's already exists , only need is to use them as power source for the same.

Having portable nuclear power generators is also possible though I would not want to be near it when it gets hit by counter fire.

I see possibility of nuclear powered systems on naval assets only be it for lasers or rail guns becz of safety and radiation leakage issues due to counter fire.

But who knows humans r pretty crazy.

Still haven't been able to figure out how the nuclear engine is powering the cruise missile, if it had been a supersonic missile then compressed air sucked in and heated up quickly and allowed to escaped would propel the same.

But in a sub sonic cruise missile the volume of air entering at a given point in time is not enough to be heated up for expansion and thrust generation , maybe they got a compressor as a work around.

Also the nuclear fuel used will have to highly enriched and therefore more dangerous , if there is an accident or otherwise

Is the cruise missile supersonic or sub sonic ?
Can see deployed wings so most probably sub sonic

Anyways I hope the missile don't crash land during flight otherwise get ready for a unsolicited doze of radiation.

there is already Electromagnetic Aircraft Launch System powered by a nuclear powered Gerald R. Ford-class aircraft carrier, but may be in the far future we may see laser and rail gun.the technology is still complex and its still in it infancy to be game changers

Normally you have very real geopolitical strategic insights:you have proof of his dictatorial tendencies and that he never attempted to find the highest bidder for his strategic real estate? Imo he took a risk that didn't pan out -you do know China is involved in major infrastructure projects everywhere including here and Naij.

Russia has a new chopper in the works-as with many of their designs its truly cutting edge.

MOSCOW, May 25. /TASS/. An advanced high-speed military helicopter is scheduled to make its maiden flight by 2025, Russia’s deputy defense minister Yuri Borisov said during the HeliRussia-2017 exhibition on Thursday.
"Our new state arms procurement program (for 2018-2025) envisages a research and development project, and we expect a high-speed aircraft to take off before the deadline of this program," Borisov said.

Apparently they're using a Hind as this pic of the demonstrator shows. Ofc,there are technical probs to overcome:
The Mi-X1 is designed to have a take-off weight of just 10 tons, seat 25 passengers and fly to 1,500 km. It has one main rotor and a rear mount lift rotor. The helicopter’s single main rotor means that in order to travel at high speeds it will have to overcome the retreating blade stall (RBS). This phenomenon occurs at airspeeds of some 300 km/h, and leads to vibrations that may ultimately destroy the rotor. Mil’s solution to fighting the onset of the RBS is to offload the rotor with the help of the proprietary Stall Local Elimination System (SLES).[1][2][3] According to Mil Chief Designer Nikolay Pavlenko, the designers have already agreed to test SLES at Russia’s TsAGI Central Aerohydrodynamics Institute.

The coastal Waswahili say kikulacho ki nguoni mwako, literally meaning what's eating you in is in your clothes. The US could learn from this as it seems the biggest dangers to their troop levels isn't the antics of the N Kor Rocketman or the depredations of jihad hungry 5th worlders but an unprecedented catalogue of problems including moral, mental and physical issues.
About 75% of America's 17- to 24-year-olds are ineligible for military service due to lack of education, obesity, and other physical problems, or criminal history, according to a report issued in 2009 by the Mission: Readiness group.
https://www.thoughtco.com/us-youth-ineligible-for-military-service-3322428
Obviously ,this is why recently they announced they'd hire self cutters and homos but a major problem appears to be obesity. In fact every year a reinf. div is rejected:
A full 27 percent of young Americans are simply too overweight to join the military, says Mission: Readiness. "Many are turned away by recruiters and others never try to join. Of those who attempt to join, however, roughly 15,000 young potential recruits fail their entrance physicals every year because they are too heavy."
Truly,kikulacho ki nguoni mwako!

Crew of MiG-31 fighter of the Russian Aerospace Forces conducted combat training launch of a hypersonic missile of the Kinzhal high-precision aviation missile system in the assigned area. The fighter took off from a Southern military district airfield in course of test combat alert. The launch was conducted normally. The missile hit the target at a training ground. Hypersonic missile confirmed its technical operational performance and timing data of the Kinzhal missile system. The Kinzhal system is designed to eliminate ground and sea targets. Due to high flight characteristics of MiG-31 aircraft and high-maneuverable radar-stealth hypersonic missile, the Kinzhal has no analogues in the world. This year, according to the combat training plan, flight crews have conducted more than 250 flights in course of the combat alert. The personnel is ready to carry out flights at day- and nighttime in any weather conditions

elements from the country on the western border have been reported to be working as advisors for er/dogan military.

I wonder about your western neighbours, really I do. They've fought 3 comprehensively losing wars with you and still haven't learned the no 1 lesson of geopolitics:chose your battles wisely!
Had these guys projected their warfighting capability into the Muslim world starting in the 70s by now they'd be regional King makers directly controlling all the major oil fields. Instead their strategic genius led them to an unwinnable war with an enemy 10x their size with at least 5x times their scientific and commercial output. And now they're still a 4th world nation running on a treadmill playing catchup with the Yindoos!
