BMP 2 firing Milan ATGM from flame v launcher integrated to TISAS thermal sight.

Unlike Russian ATGMs the Milan missile tube is ejected to the rear after the missile exit.

Did Chinese hackers steal 600 GB of sensitive data relating to American undersea warfare ? grin

Would have loved to intercept those.

A good hacker is one who steals from another hacker grin grin grin

DRDO QRSAM for army and airforce

Vertical launch systems take longer time to launch as the launch system has to be stabilized before firing can take place. However trainable launchers can fire on the move.

Nothing happened but it is a very dangerous thing .

Yesterday a report landed at my desk which stated that disinformation and rumour mongering is the biggest threat . Given that it is the age of information or rather disinformation it can make or break a nation easily.

People have started moving away from books with authentic verifiable sources to unreliable media , utube videos , blogs and forums as their information source.

All these does not bode well.

WhatsApp did more damage to us last year than terrorists and naxals combined , would u believe it ?

Nothing happened just wondering as a throwback to something I had to deal at work as I mentioned above

All these is like slow poison nobody will ever know what they become untill it's too late or possibly they will never know.

Man conforms himself based on knowledge , good or bad and inturn determines the fate of the society and country for good or bad.

Next life I will take the option of rebirth as crow grin

I actually read an article on BBC recently that showed the danger of unverified news sources. Two innocent people lost their lives.
https://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-india-44435127

During the Ebola issue in Nigeria, WhatsApp messages were being sent around that drinking and bathing with salt offers a permanent cure and inoculation against the deadly disease. My hypertensive grandma drank and bath with salt, luckily she survived but hundreds across the country weren't so lucky.

Till today I still get such ludicrous messages telling you not to drink certain brand of water because it is deadly or not to take certain medicine because it has killed hundreds of people in a certain country. A simple Google search will show it is fake and has been circulating the internet for years.

If you want to kill an organisation/business in Nigeria just craft message saying the products of such organisation has killed several people and send it dozens of people and instruct them to forward it to 20 others. Trust me within few hours the whole country will get such message and millions will believe it without making any conscious effort to authenticate it veracity.

Even our Vice President said the most immediate danger Nigeria faces right now is fake news. Oftentimes, these malicious bloggers copy gory pictures from Central African Republic or some war ravaged African country and claimed it happened somewhere in Nigeria fueling ethnic unrest.

Correct and even more dangerous is that small groups of people on the pay of like foreign countries , NGOs , religious groups , dissidents can paralyze a country easily .

A couple of months ago a Vatican funded group of around 200 people of Ind.... origin sitting in America and Europe managed to create riot like conditions via networking through WhatsApp.

They took help from western data analysis and data mining companies to help themselves in their cause.

Now working on ways to shift all ind.... relevent social media servers to the country from their foreign locations, including ind... specific servers of all financial transactions companies.

China did the smart thing when they banned all foreign social media.

The world is giving too much power for single organisation to handle. Worst still, foreign countries with interest in a nation can easily control the minds of people. The Chinese made a very smart move by banning those social media from their country.

Can a country like USA allow a foreign Social Media to have such unfettered access to their people's data? No.

Just to add it's not only countries who can manipulate u , organisations or groups of people with the money bags and resources r more likely to do the same with impunity .

What’s the unit price on these things ?
What would it take for NA to land a package deal, say 12 helos ( with option for another 6) plus hangers, spares, pilot and technician training (simulators included) and armaments

I really like this helo and what class is it in, light or medium ?
