Digital turret controller and postion indicator for Arjun Mk2 . It includes a display for displaying the Gun position to the Gunner.

It indicates that the all electric turret drive system " ELEGANT " is nearing completion . It will be used in Arjun mk2 instead of the older electro hydraulic turret drive system of Arjun mk1.

Very few tanks have this technology.

X band AESA based Vivaldi configuration radar seeker.

It is an advanced technology , AESA based Vivaldi configuration allows to pack in twice the no of transmitters and receivers per TRM module yet within the constraints of SWaP requirements of other corresponding AESA / legacy technologies .

In addition to other advantages it allows for large increase in range compared to other corresponding AESA or legacy tech based radars

Bars NO11M radar which is a hybrid PESA and AESA radar.

Current MKI version is NO11M (RC2) which increases range to 400 km AFAIK.

It doesn't work that way

Designers always need to be within the qualitative staff requirements which are set by the user ( or even if it is private initiative within accepted norms ) while designing a new product or upgrading a old one otherwise it won't be accepted by the end user.

Eg one option is probably they will change the old heavy armour with new lighter armour inorder to cater for increased weight due to addition of new systems like the APS etc.

Personally no idea

But here is the comparison chart between both of them . From what I can see it was more or less comparable , it was commendable considering that the team which built it had zero experience on computers.

PESA - each antenna element shares a single transmitter and a single receiver

AESA - each antenna element have their own individual transmitter and receiver

Keeping the above in mind

Bars N001M is a PESA in that, it uses a common transmitter for all its antenna elements

and

Bars N001M is a AESA in that, all its antenna elements have their own individual receiver.

So you can say it’s a transition from PESA system to AESA system - a hybrid.
