Bamboos are widespread particularly in NE region where it's part of way of life

Farming bamboo is good option but you will need to find species which are suitable for your region

Importantly there has to be demand for it , eg paper industry , scaffoldings , handicrafts etc

If demand is there than its a good investment imo bec no additional costs for looking after other than cleaning the surroundings

As for Akash orders exceed greater than 5 billion dollars ( don't have exact figures ) and more will be placed for the new variants ie akash mk1s and akash prime . Around 100+ akash missiles are being produced every month . It's a successful program hence we are seeing repeat orders and newer versions coming out too.

S400 won't change things that much, though will definitely complicate things for hostiles provided it is integrated with local SAM systems , air defence is potent when it is integrated and works in layers
