There should be no 'Transmission Company of Nigeria'.

Let each state generate and transmit its own power.

Then we will see even more clearly which states are a drain on our collective resources and which are making serious headway towards development.

One power company staff came to my office few weeks age to inform me that there will be power outage for 5 hours, my japanese friend in my office at the time asked the power company staff what he expect him to do with food and milk in his frdge, the power guy said to him politely we are sorry sir but will provide you with generator for as long as the repairs will last.
God I just put hand for my mouth I no fit shout, if Na for naija NEPA take light who born you to ask NEPA official to bring you generator, he will get upset and cut down the whole of your cable from the pole.
God when will naija be like other places with good governance?

Re: Lagos’ll Experience Blackout Today —TCN by yetseyi(f): 10:16am On Jul 18, 2016
Its only because Ikoyi and VI is involved.

They also did a maintenance that affected most parts of Ijanikin/ojo the previous week. We didn't have light for almost 3days, total black out. They didn't announce oo. It was a NEPA official that later told me they were having repairs and the light will be restored soon.
