plaetton: Legitimate question or not, I'v answered your question and also dispelled the writers tribal and ethnic baiting idiotic nonsense. The fact that the ignorant writer wrote his ethnic baiting trash based on ignorance and tribalism doesn't mean Yoruba people stopped have stopped June 12 activities and remembrance. Ogun And the preacher's death in Abuja is a law enforcement issue. Law enforcement in Nigeria is not rooted in the SW by law, it's National so why take the law into our own hands to dispense justice and I don't even know what you are demanding? Demonstration, protests, fights, blowing things up and destruction? What exactly are you and the ignorant and ethnic writer suggesting? 5 Likes 1 Share |

aressssa: You see? You have , after all, answered the question as best as you could. That's all that was needed. All the squabble about the OP's motives were not necessary. |

plaetton: 1. The fact that I had to explain myself to you and break down to you like a kid doesn't mean I did not in my initial posts. 2. What I just explained to you and the same fact you just accepted was the same views I asserted before, but you ignored it for obvious reasons. 3. I asserted that the OP's calculations and silly write up was tribal and ethnic baiting and even gross ignorance about June 12. 4. The preacher's death and reprehensible killing remains a national law enforcement issue to be handled by our National police and not a tribal issue like the tribalist and ethnic jingoist writer tried to frame and package. 5. This particular writer is well known for his tribal and ethnic baiting stories and unfortunately, he just mixed it up with ignorance.. Btw, what happend to the ipob terrorist killed by the police and the military? Are ibo people rampaging and or demonstrating over their death? Are Igbos out in the street demonstrating and blowing themselves up because their terrorist leader is still locked up in jail? I just wonder why these ethnic and bigoted clowns make so much noise and beat their porous chest, but always mission in action.. 4 Likes 1 Share |

geraob1: You contribute to everything in Lagos and Yoruba land, even sef you own ABUJA, but sadly, you contributed zero to your economically depressed and and unproductive villages that you can not wait to run away from... I just doubt you people see the laughable, goofiness, silliness, shallow and empty in the rubbish you spew all over the place. This is why we laugh at you people... 4 Likes |

Ejanla07: That is an uninformed comment. The pre Nigeria state of Ilorin shares no borders with the Sokoto caliphate. If it has that border, Can you tell me the border town? So educate yourself bros. No Sokoto caliphate army ever occupied Ilorin at any time but a Fulani was made Chief Imam and one Fulani after him. They were installed by Yoruba Muslims. The next Ilorin head was an Oyo man Oba Moma a candidate of the Alaafin who was frustrated by the Muslims again. He blew himself up when the Baloguns frustrated him. The present chief Imam now styled Emir is from Balogun Gambari meaning Hausa not Balogun Fulani. I hope you understand now? RichYoungNigga:Pls don't call the yorubas stinky even though their Amala stinks and purges also like their brown roofs. Even though hatred courses through their veins am not comfortable with ur choice of word. Back to the topic: what do u expect from pple that practices ewedu politics and call that sophistication. They call sophistication and the Igbos have bought almost every land in Lagos, Festac in particular. They claim sophistication and an Emir is currently presiding over ilorin. They claim sophistication, yet the Igbos have more Kings and palaces in SW than the entire yorubas. They claim sophistication yet an Igbo represents them in their parliament. They claim sophistication yet the Ijaws are currently having a field day inside their territory. They claim sophistication yet take order from just one man. What kind sophistication be this nah. Maybe Ewedu sophistication. 4 Likes 1 Share |

"The Yoruba are not known to keep quiet in the face of injustice or aberration. I don’t know what has happened in the Southwest. If anybody knows, please let him enlighten me." As the OP rightly observed, Yorubas are known for speaking out when necessary. They have been speaking out since the military regime and has not changed. Its the obvious fact that Yorubas are the moouthpiece of the massess againt any form of injustice and misrule, be it military or civilian. Am sure they will still speak out at the appropriate time. Perharps they want to give PMB and APC a benefit of doubt. Even though they know that political appointments is skewed towards the north yet they won't consider it enough reason to make noise. Its too early to wail. We all know the economy is not smiling at the momemt. And we are all feeling it Ibo/Yoruba/hausa. If we don't get positive change in few months time, you will see Yoruba coming out in large no voicing out. Some have been talking while majority others believe we should still give APC some more time. We are still watching to see where the pendulum of change will swing. That's why Jagaban too is silent and watching. That is a key attribute of a Yoruba man, they think a lot before taking an action. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Op is apparently very pissed....now his venom is directed at the Yorubas...for being peace-loving? Nah, because the inborn calculating skills of the Yorubas would actually prove them wrong by showing them that Nigeria can actually survive his people's childish tantrums. If na Igbo man dem kill, op go cry butter and cheese and call for Biafra or something in that line. But check US, check France, check UK...which of these people confront a common calamity by destroying one another, or by blaming the ruling government? That my friend is maturity. That is civilization. I know that might be alien to you op, but Yorubas are highly civilized set of people. Whenever something grave happens, we first think, and again think, before we act. We don't jump to the streets to blame others. In Yoruba land, oro sununkun, oju sununkun la fi nwo. But you wouldn't understand this. In the next 2 centuries or so, you just might understand what this means. 1 Like 1 Share |

Ejanla07: Just to make it clear to you that Ilorin was never lost at any time. It is still Yoruba land. Other places in Yoruba contain people descended from non Yoruba. Islam will be banned soon in Yoruba as well as Christianity. Then all the people in Anioma, Ogba, Ikwerre, Onitsha who are aristocrats are Yoruba without exception and descendants of Yoruba soldiers and statesmen from Benin empire. This is why they insist they are not Igbos or do you think they dont know what they are saying? |
