Kenyan female blogger Karen Nyota came for Nigerians, particularly the men this morning with her list of 6 common behaviors of Nigerians Living in Kenya. Kenyans have always had issues with Nigerians. Below is the article, she titled "NAWAOOOH! Here Are The Top 6 Most Common Behaviours Of Nigerians Living In Kenya"...

Nigerians are well known for their flashy lifestyles. They are also said to be the best when it comes to taking care of women compared to their Kenyan counterparts. There are a lot of Nigerians in the country and although some are here illegally, we still love them; our nation never discriminates on anyone.

Well, they say when you go to Rome, do as the Romans do, but for Nigerians who stay in Kenya, they cannot live by that phrase. Anyway, here are the top five most common behaviours of Nigerians living in Kenya, go through;

1.Spendthrifts

I give them 80%. Unlike Kenyans who are known to be stingy, Nigerian men are the best. They spend so much on their women and will do anything just to make them happy. They turn up like never! buy the most expensive drinks; basically, blow up millions in a day. Sema kuchafua meza!

2. Staying in an expensive apartment but like 100 of them in one house

This is the most common thing among Nigerians staying in Kenya. They stay in posh apartments but if you visit them, you will find many of them staying together. Tabia gani hii?

3. Preying on young ladies

Nigerian men are known for their love of young ladies. If you are observant anytime you go out, you will meet these Nigerian men ‘spoiling’ young ladies at city nights. After showering them with all the love, gifts, sweet messages and paying their bills, they later sleep with them in return. Remember the recent story about the Kenyan lady who was raped by six Nigerian men.

4. Demanding songs to be played

They will control everything even at the club. Demanding DJs to play music of their choice. And in most cases, they will force the DJs to play Nigerian or West African music. At least they value and support their own music.

5. Flamboyancy

They are always smartly dressed from Monday to Monday. Unlike Kenyan men who dress like they are going to a village disco, Nigerians are always on point. It’s very hard to differentiate between a con and a real one.

6. Oh and I forgot! They are always loud. You can mistake them for pastors. Their loud voice is a turn-off!

Anywhere a Nigerian is, he would made himself known. This list is the truest of the truth. A typical Nigerian could spend anything to get what he wants.

All true, that number 2 is simply because they are looking out for their brothers who are homeless. More like accommodating brothers from Naija. It is acceptable anywhere not just in Kenya, even in South Africa and many other countries, Malaysia inclusive.

Just look at how many other African countries are gushing out over Naija men, but our women will be forming what I don't know. Probably because a prophet is not recognised in his home town.
