if Christianity was not in existence lunatics like u will be in villages snatching ppls wives and spreading charms thank God Christianity brought knowledge to you. Well am not surprised from time immemorial people always bit the fingers that fed them, but they always get wat they deserved at last.

Christianity brought knowledge but a lot of the christian movement we have today are led by businessmen who parade themselves as MOG and enrich themselves by all means.

The catholic church in the 14th century were believed to lead people to the "light" until Martin Luther challenged that the Pope does not have absolute power and also that the Catholic doctrine is wrong.Christianity has slipped into that state again where one super Bishop dominate people and acts like almost the representative of God on earth just like the POPE.

Every country prays . UK , US , Russia just name it .

You are wrong. They pray privately in their homes in matters concerning personal issues and not when it involves solutions to a country where the number one occupation is corruption. The irony here is, Nigerians brutalize their children from birth to force them to have "respect" but don't understand what that word means. Worse is, they brainwash them in religious houses to be slaves to swindlers. Why the phuck are people praying when the solution is obvious? There would be no need for prayers if Nigerians accepted responsibility for their actions. Every Nigerian needs to admit that he/she is a contributing factor in the debacle called Nigeria. When you burn suspects in the streets or you are an on looker, when you give policemen bribe, when you take bribe, when you litter and dump refuse indiscriminately etc, you are directly contributing to Nigeria being a failed state. Lazy people pray. People who take responsibility get to work to fix what is broken.

Just shut up already. Why is Joel Osteen not receiving the blame for America's backwardness?

Why haven't you killed TD Jakes for the backwardness of USA?

All nations PRAY, repeat after me sir, ALL NATIONS PRAY!

What backwardness in the USA? I am confused. And no one said the U.S is heaven. Every single country has problems. What is important is the magnitude and frequency. What also matters is, what is the percentage of normal people in comparism to abnormal people in each country. In Nigeria, the population of phucked up people is unbelievably more than normal people. This is why nothing works. The s.tupid ones will never allow things to improve because of their mentality.

Prayers !
Yes, why not more prayers ?

In a land where charlatans like these two are celebrated as national heros, what other solutions do we have to deal with common existential issues than prayers from the same charlatans ? undecided

Nigeria is a fantastic place.

Religious fraudsters steal more from the masses.

The fact that these types are worshipped and held in lofty esteemed is exactly my point: why we are basket case nation.
As man thinketh, so he lives.
As a nation thinketh, so they live.
Nigeria is a case study on this.

Every reality has its origins in the mind.
If the minds of the far majority are suffused and suffocated with debilitating stone age fairy tales, then that nation will inevitably have a tough time dealing with real common issues.

Why don't you blame Yongi Cho for the corruption in South Korea you black 'brained' corrupt Africans?

My religion shouldn't be blamed for your redundancy.

White Christian Missionaries gave you schools, they gave you hospitals and all you need, yet you won't stop killing yourselves over nothing. They should have left you all in the dark where you all truly belong to kill twins and albinos for dinner and lunch; kill innocent people for a dead king in tbe name of abobaku while you terrorize your women and widows with oro cultists and never to do well widowhood terrorists in the east; you black, wicked, soul-less and lazy corrupt monkeys.

Without this same religion, where would you all be today?? Answer me?

All nations PRAY, repeat after me sir, ALL NATIONS PRAY!

Seriously?
All nations pray?

You mean Russia and China gather together in Stadiums to pray for Electricity and political crisis?

Do you have any evidence of Russian and China getting involved in these prayers or just few charlatans looking for a way to scam people?

I agree partly with some of your comments but, you need to understand the hopelessness, helpless and disillusioned state people get by daily only to find succor in messages that inspires and motivates them to face thier daily life challenges. Most advanced countries seem to relegate religion to the background cos he is health needs no physician, its the sick. By the sick Im refering to the black race generally who have been deprived, exploited, and divided in some many ways

If we accept prayer as a necessary placebo, acting as a temporary palliatives against our NATIONAL CONFUSION, then let's be honest about it, and I might concur.

But I don't ever see the short or long term benefits of encouraging or using more stone age confusion and modern evangelical fraud as a necessary placebo for a hopeless and confused populace.

But sir, what happened to all the megatons of prayer power generated every day in Nigeria since you were born and long long before that ?

Have we been dialing the wrong number all this while ?

Repeating the same task over and over again ( prayers) while expecting a different outcome each time is the clinical definition of INSANITY. undecided
Hence my reference to " lunacy fringes" .

If you live in Nigeria, you're already in one of the hottest part of hell, and a timely use of your brain would definitely steer you out of it, not more foolish supplications to invisible skydaddy.

What's really wrong with us is not a spiritual affliction, its our negative ethics that have rooted deep inside our blood.

Worship in a western congregation and you'll see the difference

African pastors are more like Marketers, all they care about is preaching you the gospel that they themselves never believe in, but only to get inside your pocket.

Emancipation of ourselves from all this mental bondage is the first approach to a genuine change.

Faith without works is dead. Pray all the prayers you can, without change in attitude to looting, corruption, greed, drug pushing, Ipodism, ia but dead on arrival.
Somebody said all nations -US,UK etc prays but they don't have our types of lunatic looters, actually their populace won't tolerate that unlike Nigerians who still support Saraki, Melaye etal.
