The yellow and white corn are the imposters. They were the modified one. grin

The original corn looked like these in the photos.. shocked

This corn is nothing new, its always come in one in 1000 corn plant,.....

You don't have to worry as it's a normal phenomenon. It occurs once in a while.

It's wine in colour, isn't it? I spoke to an agriculturist and she said it's a normal phenomenon that occurs once in a while.

So, be at peace. No need to fret.

its normal. we call it 'oka eze aturu' meaning corn with sheep teeth.

I'd love to study the phytochemical content. the color suggests presence of polyphenols. though might be wrong on that guess
