@ TKB417,

I dey feel u. . . . many of us still prefer Siasia to Amodu; in fact, no be lie Siasia appears a better coach than Amodu but im no fit run away from blame.

Me, I was a very big fan of BBC lions of Gboko in the days Amodu was "the man" - i know wetin Amodu don do for naija football. . . .  even up till now.  But becuz im dey on d verge of losing WC ticket, even some of im paddy don become im enemy, forgetting sey our SE under am neva lose match since. . . . . .  even me i no fit remember

I been jus dey wait make Sia1 Bleep UP make i hear wetin my people go yarn - now i don hear!

Let us forget past glory and focus on the bare facts; he had a fantastic run in the last U-20s but here, Siasia was absolutely clueless as to how to manage the situation and this is with the U-20s. Hmmmm, how im go fit cope with the pressures of the SEs!?
That is not to say i don't want Sia1 to take-over the SEs; in fact, i want. . . . i'd rather have our local coaches handling our national teams so that they get very good experience with time and this will be very valuable to our football in the long run.

But we have to call a spade, a spade. . . .  if we are giving Amodu such a torrid time when his team result-wise isn't doing so badly; then Sia1 deserves same too - this is absolutely appaling!

Okaakoko:

The boys played well, SIASIA is good. but ASUU head is stopping the goals. the prophesy says 'UNTILL FG ANSWES ASUU, THERE WONT BE ANY PROGRESS IN NIGERIA SPORTS' ASUU and FG are the source of our fustration. take it or leave it.

lol

chosen04:

AM so happy we lost again!!!. I lost dont know why i am always excited when misfortune befalls nIGERIA.

I feel sorry for you! shocked

Ekwere:

Bleep the ref and FIFA, let them go to hell, If I were to be the head of CAF, no African team would attend any FIFA organised competition atleast for a year to show to them that, the level of officiating is really really poor

Watch out for SA 2010, african countries going no where

Well, u can start the campaigne

Its such a shame we lost this match, truthfully i saw flashes of brilliance in the midfield and the movements of the flying eagles. Their sublime touches and runs was delightful to watch. They just seem to lack the discipline and composure needed to complete the match. More importantly, we needed a good finisher.
Re: FIFA U-20 World Cup: Nigeria Vs Spain (0-2) On 28th September 2009 by Okaakoko(m): 6:56pm On Sep 28, 2009
We are going to win our next match. that we loose dosent pain me, but the fact that SIASIA was their coach pained me. the man will loose some, you all know, what a pity

If Siasia team like, make dem lose to Tahiti or wat ever dem call themselves. He still remains a good coach. Something tells me that NFF n Amodu wanted something like this to happen.
But make una non vex o, since yar adua come nothing gree work, even football wen we b take de deceive ourselves na em de go in shambles again. Maybe its a wrong observation.

Those boys are playing good football guys, just that they have not been lucky with the finishing.
Remember four best third placed teams will go the next round. Somehow , there is still hope.
It's never over until its over!!!!!!

Our team showed determination, they just didn't have the ability.

also, Siasia has nothing to prove, he has already proven himself as the best coach in nigeria.

and that Ighalo needs to show more experience. his lack of clinical striker skills and inexperience cost us.
Re: FIFA U-20 World Cup: Nigeria Vs Spain (0-2) On 28th September 2009 by semid4lyfe(m): 7:24pm On Sep 28, 2009
Ruudie, I dey feel u die jare. I agree with u 100%. No need make I add anything but is Ighalo the best we have to offer in terms of attacking options? That guy is pathetic - poor ball control, no accuracy in front of goal, inability to turn , lack of speed etc Omo, I fit slap that guy if I see am.

I was prepared to watch the match, however at the office I detected something very fishy with my joint financial records with a so-called partner on a big-enough-ticket project who had been diverting funds,I was too annoyed and too busy straightening out the figures with my accountant that they finished the first half of the match and I didn't care a hoot,as a matter of fact,my office TV set was switched off,I've never felt so betrayed. After the account balancing,I just decided to go straight home where I had a cold shower and slept

From the result of the game,I guess I didn't miss much, however I'm not dissppointed in Siasia.IMO he's still the best coach 9ja has got presently
