Volkswagen will reduce its offer of minivans in favor of SUVs

Most car manufacturers are very focused on the sale of SUVs and crossovers, which are the most demanded bodies today. There comes one of those changes for which we will have to adapt our brain. And why have they decided to change again? It seems the ideal moment to retake the denomination due to the evolution that the model will suffer in this generation. The new Toyota Corolla 2019 sits on the TNGA platform (Toyota New Global Architecture) and promises new levels of refinement, technology and driving sensations. Of course, the denomination will be used by the three bodies: five doors, family and four doors.

In his presentation, still with the previous name but surely, the big bet could reach a mechanical level. It is expected to offer on the one hand the same propeller as the Toyota Prius, with its 122 HP, and on the other there will be a more capable variant. There is talk of an Atkinson cycle 2.0 engine combined with a more powerful electric and a hydride-nickel battery of 1.4 kWh capacity.
