As yaya toure announced his retirement from international football after severing the country for 14years.
Pep made it clear in the press that he is not part of tomorrows squad to play against swansea and he won't be played until His agent Dimitri Seluk apologize to the club for his statement against city and pep for leave yaya out of the UCL squad.
Goodjoe what's your take on this?
Is it ok for pep to punish yaya cos of his agent statement.

I stand with Pep Guardiola on this. I admire Pep's knowledge of the game. If he feels Seluk caused damage to the image of Manchester City and Guardiola with his utterances, then we should listen to Guardiola.

We invested millions of pounds in Yaya and we deserve better.

It is not Yaya but Seluk.

Yaya still remains our hero. Nothing changes this but he needs to talk to his agent to repair the damages done.

Yea, seluk should know that there is no top team that will go for a player that doesn't have much playing time and with that type of wage.
If seluk doesn't take care he is trying to destroy yaya's image cos dis how adebayo's career started fading too till he has no team to sign him.
That agent too get bad mouth jawe, can't yaya sack him?

Yea, he is a legend and a respected player to the club, but I don't like the way he wanna ends thing with city, this problems doesn't start now, it has been peeping since the era of manuel, the birthday issues

He can not. Seluk is his godfather. He was the one who exposed them. From Kolo to the other brothers. He made them successful and they owe him their loyalty.

Yaya named his first son after Seluk.

Bellerin Will Make A Great Addition To City

Arsenal ruled out a move for Hector Bellerin from Arsenal, despite interest from Manchester City and Barcelona. Bellerin was one of Pep Guardiola's targets. Guardiola wanted him at the Etihad as one of the home-grown players.

Barcelona made their admiration of the brilliant full back public and this will challenge Guardiola's determination to bring Bellerin to the Etihad.

Manchester Evening News revealed that Guardiola is an admirer of the Arsenal full back and with Manchester City having three full backs above the age of thirty, Bellerin is a prime target of the Manchester City boss.

Bellerin is a fast and aggressive full back. His style of play will suit the way Guardiola likes City to play. Guardiola likes his full back helping the midfield keep possession by drifting into the midfield.

We have seen Kolarov, Clichy, Sagna do this very well. Bellerin speed makes him an ideal player to run down the flanks. When he loses the ball, he tracks back fast and closes the gaps created when he overlaps.

Bellerin began his career in the Barcelona academy. He moved to Arsenal and developed into a top full back. His early development at Barcelona and Arsenal makes him a good choice for City. He has the knowledge of the way Guardiola likes City to play.

Bellerin's dynamic playing style helps Arsenal get good results and with Barcelona making their admiration of him public, Guardiola has a tough challenge making Bellerin a Cityzen.

Manchester City has Maffeo who can play that role. Zabaleta and Sagna are over thirty years, so we need a second, young full back in the team. We need to keep up competition and two quality young, right side full backs does this.

This Is The Right Time For Yaya To Bow Out Of International Duties

Yaya Toure is in the middle of a dramatic battle at Manchester City. The powerful box-to-box midfielder is yet to play an English Premier League game for Manchester City. Pep Guardiola, Manchester City manager, revealed that Yaya Toure will not take part in any Manchester City game until he apologises for his agent, Dmitri Seluk's controversial comments against Guardiola and Manchester City.

Dmitri Seluk claimed Guardiola humiliated Yaya Toure when he omitted Yaya From the Manchester City Champions League squad.

Despite these challenges, Yaya Toure decided to end his international career. He will no more play for the Ivorian National team.

Manchester Evening News reported that Yaya Toure announced his retirement from international football on the day that Pep Guardiola casted fresh doubt over his Manchester City future.

Yaya Toure is thirty-three years and he served his country with his heart. He is a national hero but it is the right time to bow out.

He won lots of games with the National team, represented his country at three World Cup competitions. He won the African Cup of Nations.

With all these and the challenges he faces sorting his future, it is time Yaya cuts down his international duty and focus on getting regular football with his club.

He can keep going and achieving more things with his national team. At this time, he faces a lot of challenges and without the international distraction, he can get himself back into the Manchester City team or another club, if the club leaders know his focus is with the club.

This is hard for the Ivorian fans who will miss their national hero. They should support his decision and hope he gets back his regular playing time in club football.

I hope Yaya Toure fixes his problem at City because he helped the club win a lot of games. His goals helped us lift lots of trophies.

He should bow out of city too, even if he fix the rift between him and the manager I don't think his future is still bright under pep. I respect him for what he has offered the club cos I can still remember some of his important goals and assist but he has lost it ever since the birthday cake issue just that manuel(respect) doesn't have the balls to act like pep is doing now. You can't just be talking to the whole team anyhow just cos you are one of our hero/legend. This club has been in existence b4 his arrival and will still continue functioning after he left football.

Yaya Toure Needs To Sort The Mess Seluk Created

Yaya Toure did not take part in any of Manchester City English Premier League games this season and Pep Guardiola did not include him in Manchester City's Champions League list.

The war between Dmitri Seluk, Yaya Toure's agent and Pep Guardiola affected Yaya Toure's chances of playing in the English Football League Cup game against Swansea.

Yaya Toure is a man many Manchester City fans love. We do not doubt his devotion to help the team win title. However, it is time Yaya Toure comes in between the war between Dmitri Seluk and Pep Guardiola.

Manchester Evening News revealed that Yaya Toure was not aware of Pep Guardiola's reasons for freezing him out at Manchester City.

If Yaya Toure did not know, now he does and it is time for him to stop the madness from his agent. Seluk is like a father to Yaya Toure and it is hard for him to caution such a fatherly figure in his life.

It is time for Yaya Toure to do the right thing to seal his legacy at Manchester City. Yaya Toure is not someone who should leave Manchester City on a bad note.

Dmitri Seluk started his attack on Guardiola before Manchester City appointed Guardiola, where Seluk claimed that, his grandfather would win titles with Barcelona and Bayern Munich.

Seluk took his dislike for Pep Guardiola too far. Yaya Toure was the one to suffer from this battle. That is why it is his duty to mend the relationship before it went this far.

It is better late than never. Yaya Toure knows Guardiola is not happy with the repeated public remarks from his agent against Guardiola and his club.

Yaya Toure should get his agent to apologise and let us focus on improving in the way we play, day-by-day.

Guardiola Wants An Apology From Seluk, Not A War

Guardiola froze Yaya Toure out of the Manchester City squad and later revealed he would not play the City hero until his loud agent apologises to the club, players and coaches. Seluk made inflammatory remarks before Guardiola joined Manchester City and he continued with his attitude after Guardiola's arrival.

Manchester Evening News reported that Dmitri Seluk, Yaya Toure's agent declared war on Guardiola and refused to apologise for his controversial remarks against the club and manager.

Dmitri Seluk does not know his role as an agent and he chose to destroy Yaya Toure's legacy with his controversial statements against Manchester City and Guardiola.

Seluk has no idea what happened between Manchester City and Pellegrini. He accused Guardiola of pushing Pellegrini out of his job at Manchester City. It seems Seluk does not know Manchester City went for Guardiola before they signed Pellegrini. Guardiola was the target and the club was ready to wait for him until he was ready to join Manchester City.

Seluk tried to spark a feud that does not exist. He claims Guardiola came to Manchester City to pick a fight with Joe Hart.

It is baffling that after the few games we saw Manchester City play, Seluk can still question Guardiola's choice in dropping Joe Hart.

Bravo is like a midfielder when he comes out of the eighteen yard box to help the team keep possession. His passing is top quality and his decision-making is superior to Joe Hart. This was not a case of picking a fight but making the right decision.

Guardiola asked for an apology. So Seluk talking of Guardiola wanting war, shows he does not understand the lesson Guardiola is passing.

The players are the agent's job, not the decisions of the coaches or club heads. Recently, the overpaid agents step out of their boundaries to criticise coaches and club heads.

Seluk has no place to go to the media to criticise Manchester City's choice to sign Guardiola as its manager. He said this earlier this year and he was wrong. That was not a job of a footballer's agent.

Yaya Toure is a City hero and an Ivorian legend. It is time Seluk knows that football is a team game. He makes it look as if the work the other players put into the club do not matter and all that matters is Yaya Toure playing.

From Yaya Toure's time with the Ivorian national team to the other clubs he played for. He had other team-mates who worked hard to make the team a success.

Seluk is destroying Yaya's legacy at City and it is time he stops talking tough and apologise. He should do his best to get his player back on the field.

That is the message Guardiola is passing. Seluk should do his job and become the agent Yaya Toure needs. Not a destructive influence.

Dmitri Seluk Should Show He Loves Yaya Toure By Apologising

Guardiola dropped a bombshell when he made Yaya Toure an outcast at Manchester City until he apologises for his agent's controversial words against the club and the manager. Pep Guardiola made it clear that Yaya Toure was no more part of the Manchester City squad until he apologises for the outburst his agent made after Guardiola dropped Yaya Toure from the Champions League list of Manchester City.

Seluk made a controversial statement that Guardiola humiliated Yaya Toure by dropping him from the squad. He also said he hoped Guardiola apologises to Yaya Toure if he does not win the Champions League.

Manchester Evening News revealed that Guardiola made Yaya Toure an outcast until the club's players and manager receive an apology.

Guardiola showed that despite the poor attitude of Yaya's agent, he had Yaya in his plans when he played Yaya in the second leg of the Champions League playoff game against Steaua Bucharest.

Unfortunately, when the final list came out and Yaya was not on the list, Seluk lost his cool. He made inflammatory remarks against the club and the manager. This was wrong of Seluk and he hurt Yaya Toure's chance of fighting for a place in the squad.

Yaya Toure looks nice and devoted. The repeated bad words of his agent distracts us from appreciating the work he did for the club.

Manchester City is a team of top stars. Guardiola came to the club to make changes and players will not make the squad list with these changes.

There were other players like Aleix Garcia, Guardiola dropped. Joe Hart left on loan. So did Bony, Nasri and Mangala.

Seluk hurt City fans, players, coaches and executives with his repeated controversial remarks against the club. His words are capable of running Yaya Toure's legacy at the club.

The fans love Yaya Toure and he can still make the team. Seluk has a choice to make. It is either he wants to keep his inflated ego and destroy Yaya Toure's legacy. Or, he apologises and helps Yaya Toure fight for his place in the team.

If he loves Yaya Toure as he claims, he can put down his ego and save the legacy of the Manchester City great.

Grimaldo Is A Special Left-Back And Guardiola Wants Him

Guardiola kept a low profile as he went to Portugal to watch one of the promising left-backs who was under Guardiola at Barcelona.

Manchester Evening News reports that Pep Guardiola flew to Portugal to watch Benfica beat Braga on Monday night and it was Benfica's left-back, Alex Grimaldo who attracted Guardiola to Portugal.

Pere Guardiola, who is the brother of the Manchester City boss, accompanied Guardiola on his scouting mission. Guardiola and his brother kept a low profile by buying tickets informally.

Alex Grimaldo is a special left-back who showed promise while he was at Barcelona. He is the youngest player ever to appear in a Spanish second division game at the age of 15 years and 349 days.

He is a Spanish Under-21 international who impressed at Benfica after he joined the club in last January's transfer window. He has a release clause of £51 million.

What makes Grimaldo special is his intelligence on the ball. He is a player who understands the game and makes the right decisions when he is on the ball. He also makes the right choices when he is not with the ball, opening for passes and creating gaps with his brilliant runs.

He has good technique when it comes to taking free-kicks or shooting from far. He knows the right choices to make before the ball gets to him.

Opposing players can not get the ball off Grimaldo because he is a skillful player. His positioning when his team is under attack makes him a valuable asset to any team he plays for.

Angelino is a brilliant young left-back at Manchester City. He is a fantastic player but we need competition in every place in the starting line-up.

Kolarov Is thirty years and we need another young left-back who is top quality to compete with Angelino.

The challenge we have in signing Grimaldo is his huge release clause. We hope Txiki Begiristain can find a way to secure Grimaldo at a cheaper price.

Grimaldo is quality and will make a great Manchester City player if we get him.

I doubt they will apologise. As much as we the fans want a fairy tale ending to the roller coaster ride, I do not see it ending after Seluk's recent outburst.

Going as far as saying Guardiola picked a fight with English players is ridiculous. Guardiola signed Stones and made him a regular. He improved Sterling.

Manchester City does not need the distractions and we need to focus on getting better as a football team.

I think Yaya will leave in the January transfer window. It hurts the way it might end because he did a lot for the club. We will not forget him. We do not need the drama.

Guardiola To Reap The Reward Of City's Investment In Youth In Mini Messi

Guardiola promoted five Manchester City youth players to full-time players. He also gave Kelechi Iheanacho the chance to lead the attack due to Aguero’s suspension. This shows that the Manchester City boss believes in young players and the EFL match against Swansea gives him the chance to show this.

Brahim Diaz is a player who many think shows similarities to one of the greatest football players, Lionel Messi. Guardiola might hand him a debut in the game against Swansea.

Guardiola has a track record of giving young players a chance to grow on the big stage. He did this when he handed a young Thiago Alcantara a debut at Barcelona. He also did this at Bayern Munich when he handed 17-year-old Gianluca Gaudino a chance against Borussia Dortmund in the 2014 DFL Super Cup.

During the 17-year-old Spaniard's time at Manchester City, Diaz drew comparisons to Lionel Messi. He possesses a quick technique with the ball, which makes it difficult for opponents to steal the ball from him.

He is confident and makes audacious moves with the ball. He brings out more from his colleagues by making himself available for passes, making one-touch passing sequences with them.

He beats his markers by making mazy dribbles, with several touches on the ball in a short time. He also thinks fast and anticipates the passes of his opponents.

He is comfortable switching attacking places on the field. He works hard off the ball and closes opponents with the ball. His brilliant off-the-ball anticipation makes him ideal when the team presses. When an opponent makes a wrong pass, he reads the ball's movement and retrieves it.

Guardiola might hand this brilliant youngster a debut. If he does, it means the coach believes the youngster is ready and there is a chance the youngster will impress.

Mini Messi, Brahim Diaz getting a chance today adds a little spice to the wonderful game we expect to see.

Guardiola Might Rest Iheanacho For The Weekend EPL Game Against Swansea

Aguero received a three match ban after he swung his elbow towards West Ham United’s Winston Reid. This gave Kelechi Iheanacho, the young Nigerian a chance to impress the City boss. The youngster did not fail. His performance against Bournemouth in the last EPL Game showed that Iheanacho is a valuable player for Manchester City. He scored a goal and assisted one with a brilliant pass to Sterling. He had chance to shoot but he chose the better option by finding his team-mate who was free in the box.

With Aguero still suspended, Guardiola might rest Iheanacho in the EFL game against Swansea and play him in the weekend EPL game against the same team.

This means Leroy Sane might start against Swansea. Guardiola admitted that Leroy Sane needs minutes on the pitch to get up to full speed and this is a good opportunity to give the 20-year-old some minutes.

Guardiola tried Leroy Sane in different positions in training, including the striking role. It seems the Spanish tactician will swap Iheanacho for Sane.

Let us hope the youngsters are ready to make Manchester City proud. With the brilliance performance of Aleix Garcia in the game against Bournemouth, Guardiola will feel confident to give other youngsters their chances to prove themselves. This includes Sane who the coach believes is a special talent.

He doesn't need to rest iheanacho, I think F.A also covers league cups matches. So aguero can't play today and would be back on Saturday.
I think aguero's ban is ending today

I think you are right. Aguero missed Manchester United, Bournemouth and this one will make it three. Unless these is another reason but some complications say he will not play the Swansea game in the EPL. If Iheanacho starts, then it means Aguero will play the game during the weekend.

Suppose Yaya joins UTD to spite Pep in tha face

ipledge10:
God catch Yaya Toure, He ridiculed Africa in front of the world because he didn't last year Africa footballer of the year. Without Man city, he is nothing again tongue

I will never forget the way he humilated the African continent just cos Aubumeyang won the African footballer of the year

If he joins Manchester United, that is good for him. We want those who will respect the manager and Seluk does not make it look that way.

It seems Kelechi Iheanacho will start. That means Aguero will start in the weekend. So you are right.

Guardiola Should Not Risk Kompany

Vincent Kompany, Manchester City captain made his return after his injury in the Champions League game against Real Madrid. After a long layoff, the medical staff of Manchester City declared Kompany fit.

The Belgian defender played well in his return and helped the team defeat Swansea 2-1. Late in the game, Kompany walked off and it seems the defender injured during the match.

Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola told ManCity website that he is unsure of how bad Vincent Kompany's most recent injury is.

We hope Vincent Kompany does not have a big problem after he walked off the game. We have a good medical team and Kompany Is in good hands. The report from them after they do their test will tell how serious Kompany's injury is.

During the EFL Cup game against Swansea, we saw what we missed due to Kompany's injury. His strong defending, brilliant passing and leadership showed during the game.

Despite this, we should not rush Kompany back into the squad. We coped during his absence and we can continue without him.

What is important is for him to return to full fitness. He can help us after he returns. It is difficult for a passionate footballer to stay away from the game he loves. Kompany wants to play on the pitch and help the team.

However, if his injury worsens, then he can not help us. It is better he returns to full fitness. He can not play on the pitch if his injury worsens and he will spend a longer time away from the team.

We hope our captain regains his fitness soon. It is best we keep him away from the team for a long time until we are sure he is ready.

City Did Not Break Rules While Signing Benjamin Garre

Velez Sarsfield reported Manchester City to FIFA over the signing of promising Argentine youngster, Benjamin Garre. The youngster was a target of Manchester United and Barcelona.

Velez Sarsfield alleged that Manchester City approached them for the player when he was 15 years. An act they consider immoral.

Sky Sports News reports that Manchester City did not break any rules in signing Benjamin Garre from Argentina. The player possesses an Italian passport, meaning he could move on his 16th birthday. FIFA cleared the transfer before Garre joined Manchester City.

Velez Sarsfield is bitter that Garre chose to join Manchester City. It is hard watching a young player leave for another club, especially one as promising as Garre.

Txiki Begiristain, Manchester City's technical director is a former technical director of Barcelona. He understands what happened at Barcelona before the transfer window ban. He would not make such mistake to put the club in trouble with FIFA.

I do not think approaching Velez Sarsfield for Garre when he was 15 years is wrong, since he could join Manchester City when he turned sixteen.

If he could make the move at 16 years, at what age do Velez Sarsfield expect Txiki Begiristain to approach them for the player? 17?

Pep did a mistake allowing vinny to play a full match after been side line for almost 4months due to injury. He should have taken him off after the second goal. Though clichy said he(vinny) told him that he is fine. But I don't trust that, at least he would be absent for atleast 1month. Cos he has work out of the field some couple of game like that and it took him long time b4 he recover.
Nevertheless, I wish our capoo speedy recovery.
