ifyclose2: I've managed to go through the business plan and here are my concerns/comments 1) I feel you are overly ambitious with the services you plan to offer considering the amount of money you will need to procure specific medical equipment 2) I strongly feel your contribution to the business should be your expertise but it appears you want to act as a medical director from the get go. You should be leveraging on the field/branch of your medical expertise first before expanding to provide other core services. In other words, you haven't convinced me of your expertise even though you are asking me to invest in you 3) How did you arrive at the projected sale figures? I noticed you stated sourcing them from data gathered from market research and surveys. Are you able to share this data because I don't understand how you can set up a fully functional hospital (including all core services/personnel) with a paltry sum of 14M and expect to meet a sales target of 25M in your first year I actually don't think you've thought this through properly so it's going to be a pass for me. I hope you can take some positives from the feedback as provided All the best 2 Likes 1 Share |

You have no #10m to invest, you just trying to steal business ideas. I don't support running down a business proposal(Hospital business) becos you are not interested. @ ifyclose2 never mind real investors are coming. |

restored2016: Why do i need to steal a business idea that I won't be able to physically implement considering the fact that I don't live in Nigeria? Do i look like someone who doesn't have money to invest? I gave the guy a constructive feedback but you are here being suspicious over nothing 5 Likes |

jaybee3:People steal business ideals to compile there own e-book, if you insist you are not one of them no quams, but make sure you end up telling us which business ideal you took and the developmental stages, so that we can believe others when they come for business ideals. |

jaybee3: Brilliant submission. Just to add. This is NOT a business plan. I actually downloaded, read and analyzed the stuff but no head abeg. Even a child that wants to do stuff these days, will Google up stuff. Have you seen a real business plan? Something live?! Did you think of a feasibility study first, and how did you get the data? At least you'd think this thing through, especially if you really want the funding. Your patients -- are you considering the economic situation in the country? Equipments I heard are expensive, and would be imported right? I thought you were way TOO optimistic. If you drew data from your current place, investors should be aware. Bro, you need many details and a bit more professionalism in your plan. My advice, see a consultant to help you draw up your plan. Cheers. Cc: Jaybee3, Davide470 2 Likes 2 Shares |

Unfortunately I don't believe you will find a good business idea on Nairaland. All these "hit me up for more info" guys are very suspicious. And I wouldn't invest in that hospital idea, simply because I know at least 5 consultants and specialists in different medical fields and they are not planning on rushing into establishing their own hospitals soon (these guys are guys whom people respect and some probably taught you or you are reading a textbook published by them). A hospital has to build up reputation and be located in the right area to attract the right sort of paying clientele. People are now beginning to realise that the attractiveness of the facility doesn't equate to the experience of the staff. So that's a No for me without even reading your proposal. N10mil in this economy isn't much. People are cutting bigger deals with much less because they have other things in place like connections and networks. Look for something people need. Especially now that people are not spending like they used to, try and invest in something very affordable. My best suggestion is Processing of an Agricultural product, not growing but processing it. I found out something interesting about Cassava yesterday, maybe start reading up about that. Long-term, I would put my money in Arts and Culture. Someone's dad bought a N500,000 statue from a Nigerian artist and less than 15 years later it is now worth $22,500 and counting. If I get N500,000 I would buy from that guy. If I had N2mil, I would buy a painting by EL Anatsui. Barring that, I'd invest in a cultural centre for Arts and Music. But that is a long-term strategy when you have a bit of income to play with. But it will pay off, ask Nike Arts Gallery. 1 Like |

ifyclose2: The following are missing: A Detailed Financial Forecast (at least 3-4 Years) Human Resource Budget (From MD --->> Security) Operations Plan Sales Plan Market Segmentation (Consulting for Organisations *General Practitioner*?) Market Survey: Business Environment (Who are your main competitors?) What's your Comparative Advantage? (Cheap Medical Services? Top-notch equipment? Can you afford it?) Above all, the first year forecast is almost unachievable. A deduction of your variable cost (start-up budget) from the returns should give you a (-) negative or negligible profit given the nature of your industry. You can limit your operations in the first-four years to Consulting/Laboratory Services. All you need to achieve that is a consulting room, a front desk, a laboratory and a store. Target Markets: Organisations, and maybe individuals (outpatients right?). A regular flat may not get you the kind of client/money you expect. Can you watch pregnant women in sweat? Can you power 24/7 alternative power? Review your plan bro |
