Olodo, your kunu drinking inbred herdsman President lacks balls. He is overtly incompetent. Begging militants for negotiations... Who does that?

And watch your tongue... They re not miscreants, they're heroes. The Niger Delta will not sit down while we continue being exploited. Our resources cannot be used to feed almajiri sub humans who only have killer instincts. Respect yourself.
kropotkin11:
So the govt should sit down and watch as these miscreants hold the country to ransome? They were given the chance to come to the table, but what did they do? They stepped up the bombing campaign and made boastful threats in twitter. Its only when they realised that Buhari was going to send in the army to obliterate them, they softened their stance. The window for dialogue and a peaceful resolution is still open but closing fast. I fear that if no headway is made on that front by weekend, we will have another war on our hands

well, your 'heroes' are about to get blown to smithereens if the criminals don't lay down their arms. They are too small to stand up against the might of the Nigerian state.

as it is closing fast so will it open fast again...I have said it a million times on this forum...you can't drill and lift oil by force from the Niger delta...even if all the armies are deployed to the region...
well, then tell your criminal friends to embrace peace and leave our national assets alone or the dead bodies will pile. It is not even in the interest of the niger delta for the region to become a war zone. But you are beating the drums or war cos you are safely tucked away from its major theater

Buhari can go ahead and bomb the Niger Delta people. He will win the battle, but Nigeria will loose the war as no drop of crude oil will be pumped out of Niger Delta for the development of any other part.

This is a guarantee.
we've heard that trash before. Even before the elections Asari and his friends threatened war, the avengers have been saying the same thing for months. All empty threats

Smh @ this kid, in his small mind, he thinks that a war in Niger Delta will be like the movies were the protagonist decimates the antagonist. Let me enlighten you and other ignorant zombies, a war in the ND, will see a total embargo on crude oil exports, absolute evacuation of all oil workers, a dollar exchanging at 2000 naira, inability to pay workers both federal & states, inflation skyrocketing, A collaps of the national grid & total blackout nationwide, Abo.Kis trekking into Niger Rep & Afonjas trekking into Benin as economic refugees. You can imagine the suffering you are passing through just because of a few bombings that led to a declaration of force majour by the IOC's, then imagine how your life will be when the IOC's are forced to pull out totally, the whole of Nigeria will become IDP camps!!
according to them they ll balance in their sitting room and be watching the forgettin that the gas from the delta Is what powErs over 75 % of the national grid kids full nairaland wella

The crocodile smile is about to turn into a frown in the next coming days if your friends refuse to dialogue. Lets hope it doesn't come to that. Luckily the avengers have seen the light and have ceased hostilities. Also by the way, the oil in the Niger delta belongs to the federal republic of Nigeria and not to any region or terrorist group.

Buhari should bo.b niger delta.
He should also know that his troops will be defeated through improvised explosive devices. After the defeat of Buhari's troops, holding Nigeria together will be mission impossible.

So he should go ahead and start a war he cannot win simply out of hatred for his 5%

Words on marble from our amiable colonel, if Buhari has ear let him hear. If he goes ahead to bomb the ND, what will come after that will breakup Nigeria.

Once there is chaos in the niger delta, no oil company will be fit or sensible enough to lift or work in war torn zone.

Even if FG will win, don't expect it to end in 1yr.

Can u imagine a Nigeria without any source of income for a whole year?

Don't think the FG can still fund the war after 6months.

Niger delta has nothing to loose as they have never gained any even when their is peace.

Sifting through all the demands of the NDA and other affiliated organisations, it is obvious the SS/Niger Delta need the status quo to change so as to entrench fiscal independence and regional restructuring. Is there a particular reason why the FG is totally unwilling to consider and implement this?

They said they want the international community well represented in any negotiations with the FG, d FG is also determined not to consider this but will rather deploy deadly force for its version of peace. Even the demand for cleaning up of polluted areas eg Ogoni appears to have been abandoned so when u say they should 'embrace peace and negotiate' what exactly is their bargaining chip beyond the oil installations in their domain?

You do not feel d pains of environmental degradation and economic losses more than they do yet the FG still isn't making any effort to address anomalies. Now, the Niger Delta has been degraded for decades yet a look at the spread of capital development projects for regions shows d FG is more in a hurry to settle d NE whose problems started barely 7/8 yrs ago when Northern agents are d sole perpetrators of whatever disaster they've got today unlike d SS where d people watch helplessly as the FG and foreign oil companies degrade n destroy their environment in d process of extracting crude n flaring gas.

The SS despite being the proverbial golden goose comes only fifth out of d six regions. Be honest now and answer this: What should d priority of a country that depends mostly on crude be focused on? Should the first in time with regard to destruction not prevail in terms of resolution of problems? More so when d resources proposed to be deployed by d govt for d NE will be sourced from d same SS? Has d Niger Delta not been in the forefront of negotiations with successive governments in this country? What has come out of it?

You might still come out to say they shouldn't challenge the might of d Nigerian state but should d same almighty state not do the right thing? Are the ND and all those who actively demand a restructuring and decentralisation of powers n responsibilities asking for too much? Why must d state deploy deadly force to quell dissenting voices?

The President should carpet Bomb the Niger Delta into submission.. angry

A lot of the iidiots here have zero clue what is happening down here. These Militatnts are not fighting for any right, they are just criminals looking for a free meal without working.

The situation is very beyond bad now.. Not even the poor Niger Delta village dweller is safe. People in the region live in fear daily. You work hard and make your money and you can't spend it here or live here because these same boys would kidnap you, extort you and kill you.

If people tell you the Horror stories going on in the Niger Delta, you will cringe. In Omoku, in the last 3 weeks, over 30 people have been killed. FACT!

The President should forget negotiations, it wouldn't work. You can't negotiate with criminals..

I support the full Militarization of the Niger Delta Area.. angry Late President Yaradua was a biitch for opening up this Amnesty fhuckery..

You don't have to agree with my opinion, but its mine nonetheless..
