Why did they make it public? Now this will spoil his chances of getting other clubs to sign him.

I hope he sues them for that. undecided

Bro we are talking about [b]defamation here. Your example does not align with the situation on ground here.

What defamation ?
Are you saying the player is HIV-negative ?

Dawg, just grow up.
It's very difficult to get H.I.V from sex, how old are you ??
To get H.I.V, there must be transfusion of blood.

Go read some book

It is unethical to misinform the public in an attempt to chastise someone.
HIV is most commonly transmitted through sex, it is easy to claim(though it is true)
that there is a higher chance of transmission through blood transfusion than sex
but you must ask yourself this;

How many people will get blood transfusion at least once throughout their
lifetime compare to those who will engage in sex ?

HIV is readily transmitted through sex, that is reality.

Of course bro!

The player has the right to sue the club for the damages he will experience due to their making his HIV status public. A very private information between them and him.

That's a very bad thing for the club to do.

so the best bet is to make a career out of the case since the club intentionally terminated his main career, but who knows what fifa rules says on this

You don't know the meaning of defamation. Do you?

To constitute a defamation, a claim must be generally false.
It is more of a Privacy act than defamation. The club stated a fact and acted accordingly. The club media rep might have acted in bad faith and in a sane climate would be penalized accordingly. But then the information came from kingfut.com. Who leaked the information to kingfut.com before the club media representative "confirmed" the news to the press?

By the way, Confidentiality law is not universal.

The club had just handed the player a life time meal and luxury ticket, wow they really screwed up big time. By the time litigation starts, they better opt to settle out of court ASAP.

This move is bad for the fight against HIV/AIDS. We at the fore-front of the fight against the scourge always preach againt discrimination and stigmatization. Now tell me why a known carrier of the disease will boldly step forward and disclose his/her status when he/she knows that it will ruin his chances in life? Tell me why a known carrier of the scourge will not want to spread the disease? This club acted in bad faith. HIV Support Groups around the world must rise in defence of this player. They have unknowingly created another career path in HIV activism for him.

Are you kidding? The reason for medical test in football is to know the health condition of a player you signing. In fact, they should have tested him before the final deal. A Hiv/Aids infected person can not play football or any sport that involve body contacts, it's a rule
Re: Samuel Nlend Sacked For Testing HIV Positive In Egypt (Photos) by Gkemz: 6:56am On Aug 31, 2016
If such a thing happens in the western country, the club would be sued for stigmatization and discrimination against people with HIV which would attract stiff penalty. HIV is not the end of the world. If well managed the patient might live more than ordinary person without it. I've seen a lot of carriers who look so healthy because it was noticed on time and medications commenced when it can still be remedied.

Are you saying european teams would have let him be on their team? Have you forgotten that football is a game of contact? Players can collide on the pitch and get busted and he bleeds. They can't put the life of other players at risk because him

Even if other clubs sign him without knowing his status, they will still always do their Medicals, and he will always test positive.
If the policy in football is not to employ hiv positive people due to the risk of injury on the field, and possible spread of the virus he will always be sacked after 4 days in any club he goes.

haven't you heard of window period.
who knows. .he might have know his status during the window period.
then he should HV informed them because for them to kick him out after just 4 days of signing means he didn't mk it known to them instead of this harsh way they treated him
information is key in everything we do.
