I guess you are using gionee m2....... if am right, then don't bother touching your charging port cos the otg feature is only for charging other phones not to read external drive

Op, just as obisite has stressed out; your phone has to support the feature before phone can recognise an OTG connection. If you don't mind the time it's gonna cost you, you can easily Google your phone specs from notable websites like gsmarena, phonearena and anyother related websites on your screen. It may be written as USB host or USB charging it does the same as feature. I have OTG cables for sale however I am only opening this offer to Ibadan residents only.

i have downloaded lot of otg checker app all says phone supported but when i plug my cable bothing happened i have rest tge cable on another phone working perfect i am using funtouch 2.5 os

looking for an otg cable to be able to use gamepads, keyboard, mouse, flashdrive and many more on ur android phone just hola at me at 07059628471
ps3 and ps2 gamepad to usb convertor also for sale , you own a ps2 or 3 game pad u need no worries just buy a convertor and u are good to go on just ur android phone
you can also charge other phone while ur phone serve as a power bank

You can use OTG Troubleshooter app which is very simple. Users can disconnect and connect the OTG cable when prompted and if everything is fine, you will receive four green check marks, if not you do not get four green checks, tap on More Info for a description on the issue.

Kindly search "OTG Troubleshooter app " in Google. I am not sharing link of OTG Troubleshooter app because Forum Policy is not allowed to share link.

No idea about funtouch 2.5 os. I have used OTG Troubleshooter app which is perfectly fine for me.
