Ugwuanyi literally means 'our Mountain/Hill'. It is referred as saying in English 'our Rock'
t'

"Ugwu" could mean dignity or respect as pronounced in Ugwuanyi.

You are wrong you know. Igbo language is too diverse that you have to be versed in it to understand the names as applied in our hundreds of dialects. In Ngwa dialect "Ikpegh" means money and "azugh" means cannot buy. Literally it translates to "money cannot buy" but culturally it means "incorruptible".

Ezenwo in Ikwerre language means same as Ezenwa in Igbo distinguishable from Ezemati in Ikwerre or Ezenta in Igbo.

Nyesom in Ikwerre language is same as Onyesom in Igbo language and Wike in Ikwerre is same as Nwike in Igbo.

Okowa and Okorocha/Okocha are basically in reference to male specie as used in older Igbo. Oko owa means Nwoke Owa in Igbo of today while Okocha means Nwokeocha in recent Igbo. Oko Owa means an Owa man. Okowa might have links to Owa kingdom of Ika ethnic group as we have such names as Nwangwa or Nworu in Igbo parts.

Okowa is from Owa-Alero in Owa kingdom

Ikpeazu can means AT LAST or UNFAIR JUDGEMENT ....judging people at the back..like AKAAZU....meaning CORRUPTION.

SO ONLY THE PARENT CAN TELL BASED ON THE SITUATION THAT WARRANT SUCH NAME but its likely a name of sorrow like UNFAIR JUDGEMENT

The two are right depending on how you pronounce it. it can mean 'the last one' or 'wrong judgement'

Both of you are wrong

the NAME ''Ikpeazu'' means Last, as in Last born

Ikpeazu also mean 'wrong judgement'. Azu can literally mean bad/wrong in some Igbo dialect. eg:
i. O na ekpe ikeazu(false judgment)
ii. O na eme akazu(not straight forward)

pls when you know nothing about a topic always try to subdue the urge of passing the wrong message to avoid confusing people. Igbo language is a tonal language which unlike english language requires one to know the correct tones associated with each vowel sound in other to know the meaning of a word. Words like akwa and oke have four meanings depending on the tonal sounds used. That is why we have tonal signs, that is also why pple insist their names are pronouced correctly to make the meaning obvious. Its is almost impossible to have a word with a particular tonal sound having two meanings except its a slang. Using music signs 'ugwu' can have three meanings thus:

Ugwu /d/gw/d/ = dignity
Ugwu /m/gw/d/ = circumcision
Ugwu /m/gw/m/ = hill

the last one 'hill' is a popular surname in Enugu especially Nsukka area.

Ugwuanyi is correctly pronouced

Ugwuanyi /m/gw/m/ /r/ny/r/
which means our hill. Saying it could mean dignity shows you dont know the pronunciation

again, Ikpeazu is correctly pronouced thus:

Ikpeazu /d/kp/d/ /d/z/r/ which means last child, last born or last person. The one that means "the end" and "back judgement" come with other sounds.
