Online Body Of Accountants And Economists To Help Nigeria Out Of Recession.. by Olusharp(m): 7:46pm On Sep 15, 2016
...To make Nigeria again..
I believe the following should be put into consideration as we all know Nigeria doesn't have any other stable income other than crude oil,we can't just move from being a consuming economy to a producing economy, those clamouring Agriculture are not really right though it is part of it but you can't plant for example cocoa today and expect yield next year or even two years after...so what i am saying is this ,the government should try to resolve matters with Niger delta militants and if that's is possible..whatever income we get should be pump into Agricultural sector while the environ where oil is gotten from should be taken care of... ..there are other things i wish to share..All economist and accountants online should put head together and lets see how to go about it...we can make Nigeria better.. Join the talk and share your thoughts.

***Lets drop valid points that are realistic and practical..***

You say the money generated from crude oil to be used
on Agriculture after regulating things in the Niger Delta region buh
do you really think the Govt wiil do that? If we are to develop the
Agricultural sector then i guess we Nigerians are the one to kick-start
such diversification then along the way, 0ur so called government will
be encouraged to assist...

All crass talks de-marketing the country from higher office holders should be stopped. No investor will come into such an environment that is being so vociferously decried and run down.

change the narrative, less cry of wolf, wolf without no wolves! Let's settle down and work this thing. All this "playing-the-victim" posturing is just reducing our bargaining powers. Is oil our only source of revenue?
What about all the other mineral resources that the mining sector that give us?
What about Agriculture?
What are we doing about taking our education sector to export level heights like UK, Canada and co, even if for only West Africa only?
What about doing that with Health? Reforming, Repositioning and Re-tooling the Health Sector so that we can steal some of the teeming health imports flowing out of the african continent to India for costly operations and surgical procedures? With that in place and fulfilling welfare/remuneration packages, we can certainly attract some our of erudite and accomplished sons and daughters doing us proud in medicine from all over the globe, even if not more than, on visiting basis!

Foreign Direct Investment should be sought on good negotiatory terms.

There's so much that we can do. In fact so much that these days would be a blessing in disguise and a turning point for these great nation but the narrative has to change and from the top.

People don't need to be hearing furrking maniacal crap like Lokpobiri saying rice-bags would top 40k before december or some Finance ministry slowpoke saying that at this rate, FG wouldn't even be able to pay Fed.Civil Servants anymore by Oct2016, that's bullshyyt!

Whoever's using our airtime to be venting horsesh1t like that should be shot on sight and for the records all these boys-scout crop of leaders including pmb himself need to go for some mind refixing with some strategic management experts fast!

Sorry, I chose to still hammer on the leadership because their actions and inactions set the tempo for a lot of mitigating factors to what you're proposing ergo lending/interest rates, currency exchange rates, inflation etc

So you.mean we should lead the way and the government will follow..but i believe if they make agriculture conducive and attractive people will rush into it.

To get Nigeria out of her present predicament the following should be put in place:
1 at least 50% cut off of top government officials.
2 virtually all states in Nigeria have one resources or the other therefore each state government should be allow to be incharge of the resources while the FG act as a watch dog on each state and serves as the big brother.
3. Mass campaigns, most Nigerians don't really understand the problem we plung ourselves in,most believe it is Buhari that's not releasing the fund they don't understand stand there is more at stake.Nigerians should be educated on consuming our own local products that rather than foreign this way our money stays within Nigeria.
more to come...

The problem is our past & immediate governments are
stiff-necked & it will be hard for them to venture into it first.

Away from that, there should be strict regulations towards the
way we use & buy foreign goods...especially things we can
produce by ourselves...
