o many people, especially youths are sometimes ignorant of the fact that they are on earth for a specific purpose. Nobody was ever created to add up to the population of the world and may I tell you this: you’re not born by mistake!
You are also not given birth to to add up to the number of the children in your family. You are destined to become something in life.
But due to the ignorance of this and youthful exuberance, a lot of youth delved into relationship as a means of enjoying the youthfulness of life or engage in activities that would destroy their life.
The time of your youth comes with lots of opportunities and at the same time ‘opportunities’ would come to destroy it.
What kind of relationship are you into? Do you know the reason why you’re created to the world? Ignorance of this would make you live a careless and frivolous life.
You are destined to become something in life – positive or negative. And the power to choose the best option lies in your hand. Your destiny is that thing to which you have being foreordained to become by Divine order.
You’ll never fulfill that purpose you’re created to if you engage in the following.
1. Wrong relationship
A wrong relationship is like a wrong pair of shoe worn on the right leg. No matter how you’d try to get comfortable in it, it’s not going to fit in properly.
Keeping boyfriends or girlfriends where your life is traded on a platter of immoralities is an avenue to destroy your destiny. It doesn’t matter if the society tells you it’s the right thing to do.
A wrong relationship would mess up your life, waste your time, trap you in immorality and destroy God’s purpose for your life. You won’t realize all this until later when it becomes too late to reverse the hand of time.
Quit every relationship that sabotage your destiny. You have something more important to fulfill on earth. Don’t trade your destiny for pleasure in that relationship. Never please your friend to destroy your life.
2. Bad friendship
Everyone has friends in life, whether casual or bosom friends. Have you taken your time to consider the influence of your friend on your life?
It’s of no use to keep friends when nothing positive is contributed to your life and destiny. The kind of friend you keep would determine how fulfilled you’ll become in life. It’ll also determine the time at which you’d fulfill your purpose.
One thing friendship does is that there’s a transfer of habits or character unconsciously if you’re the weaker one. It pays to stand alone and make great impact in life than to have dozens of friends without any meaningful impact.
Disengage from the friendship that would destroy you, whether same sex or opposite sex relationship. Life is more than seeking ‘fun’.
3. Seeking pleasure
Youths desire to pursue pleasure because they have the energy, time and sometimes money to do so.
But in the long run, when your life is characterized by the pursuit of pleasure; cumulatively, it’ll amount to a wasted life.
Likes of clubbing, partying, spending time frivolously on activities that doesn’t add value to your life and the likes would make you waste your youthful years.
Great men in life don’t seek pleasure, but they rather discover and fulfill their purpose before they enjoy the labor of their hands.
4. Undiscovered purpose
Have you known the reason why you live? When the reason of a thing isn’t known, abuse they say is inevitable. If you don’t know why you live, you’ll abuse your destiny. You can’t fulfill your destiny if you’ve not discovered your purpose.
There are thousands of youths today who are living their lives aimlessly. They jump from a wrong relationship to another in search of love, move from one destructive friendship to another with a view of being accepted or cared for.
There’s more to life than all of that. It’s the purpose you know that would define everything about you.
