A member of the group that kidnapped Margaret, the wife of the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele, last week has said he and his gang members were not aware of the identity of the people they abducted.

Margaret and four other persons in her company were kidnapped on Friday along the Benin-Agbor Expressway by armed gunmen.

They were, however, set free less than 24 hours after.

But one of the suspects, Musa Muhammad, said they only embarked on random kidnapping without knowing the identity of their victims.

Muhammad and five other members of the gang, who have been identified as Fulani, are at present telling the police all they know about the kidnapping of Margaret at the headquarters of the Edo State Police Command in Benin.

Muhammad was said to have been arrested a few hours after they released Margaret.

He then led the police to the five other members of the gang who have been arrested so far.

Three other members of the gang are said to be on the run.

I don't believe any of this nonsense -- not one part of the whole story.

Random Fulani kidnapping an individual with 4 armed police escorts?

Was she even kidnapped . . . I might be wrong though . . .
undecided

This whole kidnap thing is now looking like a script straight outta nollywood.

One of three things is involved:

1. The kidnap actually happened and was orchestrated by sons of the soil, but somehow, someone somewhere feels, "let's blame it on the usual suspects, our gullible people will buy it."

2. The kidnap was staged for the same reason as in (1).

3. Someone somewhere is up to something. To gain public sympathy, maybe? You never can tell.

The woman was miraculously rescued just like she was kidnapped.

Actual kidnappers would have played the ball way harder. If it were Fulani herdsmen on the other hand, blood would have spilled, somehow.

Yet to see any good value fulanis have added to humanity..

Don't we think it's time for Restrreat their mess ups by chasing them back to sokoto -futajalo axis?

Look harder. I'm sure you're also struggling to see any good in yourself.

You can kick-start the ass kicking.

Your gullibility, hatred, and simple-mindedness is unrivaled!

My point is, there is more than meets the eye about the whole story -- it just doesn't check. And like I said, I might be wrong . . .

BTW, I have no love, affiliation, nor hate towards the fulanis, nor do I have time for NL's tribal garbage -- it is not a true reflection of what the real people who are my friends from across the country are.

I think there is a miss up somewhere. They are Libyans, not Fulani herdsmen according to the Sultan of Sokoto.

They should take their statement again and correct the mistake.
