i don't see this as a loss but more or less like a plot. They had the game in their hands and surrendered it to the swedes. FIFA should investigate rapinoe, smith and the coach

Is this a conspiracy theory or are there any important facts you can point to that support this claim that the USWNT sold?

Millimetres!!

Even if the ball didn't go over the line, the US GK would have been carded and the penalty re-taken because the Goal Keeper "attempted" a second save of the ball in that play. ( Penalty takers are allowed only a single touch of the ball during a shoot out, even if you mistakenly touch the ball and it leaves it's original position on the marked spot, it'll be counted as a taken penalty...No rebounds either.)...And as Such, Goalkeepers are also allowed only a "single touch attempt" at a save...

She's made plenty enemies along the way. They won't allow her rest. To be fair, she's a shadow of her former self and has been horrible this world cup. It still doesn't remove from the contributions she's made to USWNT over the years. However, it won't stop the bashing, she sometimes got herself entangled in unnecessary battles and made enemies out it. She go collect online well well.
Most soccer/football fans in the US, care little about politics, if that's the enemies you're talking about.

Most of them talking don't even watch the games. They're just looking for any trending thing to turn into political debate.

AUNZ Round of 16 Preview :How Nigeria can pull an Independence Day

Nigeria have had a wonderful start to this year’s World Cup, an opening day 0–0 draw with Canada followed by a 3–2 comeback over hosts Australia to get the vibes going. However a failure to send debutants Ireland home pointless with a 0–0 draw means upon escaping Her Majesties’ Group of Death they’ve booked an appointment with the Queen herself and will be taking on much fancied European champions England in Brisbane. The defensively robust Falcons will be facing on a side that put 6 past their last opponents so lets take a look at how they might claim another scalp.

Sarina Weigman’s side were very well known for fielding the same XI in every game in their run to the Euros title last year. However life is dynamic and has forced Weigman to be the same; a middling opening game performance led to some turn over in the second wherein they lost superstar metronome Kiera Walsh, leading to a whole system change in their final group game. It’s uncertain if there will be changes once again seeing as Weigman has confirmed Walsh’s availability but considering how rampant they were last time out, and a desire to have Walsh recover properly, we’ll assume Wiegman will stick to her shiny new guns.

Having lost Walsh (and prior opponents figuring them out prior to that), England have had to rethink their progression plan no longer playing through the center of the pitch choosing to utilize their wingbacks as the main strategy. In build up the CFs will pin the defenisve line back and the WBs will stay high and wide on both flanks to stretch the pitch thus the opposition block can’t access all threats without losing compactness. Meanwhile the centre backs will circulate the ball along the back line occasionally bouncing the ball of a midfielder who’ll drop in front of the defensive block with the aim of forcing the block to tilt to one side allowing Bright/Greenwood find the opposite wingback in space. This switch would then bait the FB to confront and since there are 2 forwards to pin the CBs they would be unable to cover allowing the WB to play into a massive gap in the channel that the 8 or CF can attack and then get a cross or cut back in. These crosses were England’s primary form of chance creation with them attempting 17 in total, 10 from their CFs/8s and 5 from WBs. The danger of the WBs coming in from the fullbacks blind side at the farpost along with 2 other targets in the box made them a very credible threat with half the goals against China coming from open play crossing scenarios. If the English CBs were unable to find the deep pass for the WBs then the near side one would drop to support usually creating two avenues; either the defensive block tried to close them down freeing up the far side WB or the nearside 8/CF would promptly attack the vacated wide channel (should note that on the left Lauren James would occasionally make the drop to allow Daly attack depth).

Visualization of the aforementioned English attacking plan
How England utilize their wingbacks to create chances
Pass action map for Bronze and Daly vs China
You can see the two main actions the English wingbacks took part in, circulation (blue) and passes down the line (yellow). From Opta
Their other main offensive threat was the counter press, they were very ruthless at winning the ball back and closing down passing options. When high and wide in final third England’s WCBs, Carter and Greenwood, would be high up the pitch as a passing option but their primary directive seemed to be to immediately press up on China’s attack outlet on that wing when possession was lost. The rest of the England team would also pick off possible passing options while trying to herd the Chinese player into as much English traffic as possibly, even if the ball wasn’t won it would buy time for the far side WB to retreat and form a back 4. However they did still let China through due to the centrebacks aggressive nature leading to space in behind though Millie Bright was up to the task of sweeping in behind. England spent majority of the time off the ball counter pressing (25%) or in transition (33%).

England’s Turnovers, Regains and Pressure maps vs China. The high number of actions in wide areas are of note, especially the pressures from behind on the left wing where Bronze was always quick to recover
Based on the above I would have Nigeria line up in their usual 4–2–3–1. Nnadozie and the back 4 of Plumptre, Demehin, Ohale and Alozie retain their places along with Ayinde, Ucheibe and Payne. I’d have Ajibade start in the role she’s shown the most promise in, on the left. The last 2 spots are were things might get contentious. Uchenna Kanu has done a solid job in the last 2 games scoring against Australia and coming closest to breaking the deadlock with the Irish however Monday’s cameo showed better qualities towards the plan in mind. At 9 dropping Oshoala would be big call but I’d rather have Super Zee come in as a super sub and finish the game on the pitch considering the questions about her fitness. Desire Oparanozie would have been my first choice but with little news on whether she's fit enough to play Onumonu is good enough stand-in for reasons we’ll get to later.

There is no such rule. Its a lie. A GK can make more than one save as long as the ball is still in play. So you expect the keeper stay still while the ball rolls into the net after making the first save. That's a wrong insinuation. If not for goal line technology, that Sweden's goal wouldn't have count because it barely cross the line. Technology played a huge role in football

I follow US politics and can tell you categorically that the backlash has little to do with football, but much about political and social issues.

Much of the backlash she's receiving now isn't because of the penalty miss, but many of the position Megan has taken before now. Go check out several tweets, many see her an Anti-american.

It's been a rule since 1987.

The goal keeper is only allowed to touch a ball twice if it rebounds off a post or crossbar as long as the "balls motion is as a result of the initial kick"

Players are only allowed to touch the ball once in a PK shoot out, so are keepers. But in a regular time PK, players are allowed to rebound, and goal keepers are also allowed to touch it more than once.
