lovewins: I think NFF got this right for First time even though there were news of Aisha Folade insisting that NFF must retain Randyā¦ Kudos to them..! But again i must say that the earlier a Coach determines the best way for his/her team to play the better for the Coach, this is were the Super Eagles Coach Jose is getting it wrong, to me with what I watched yesterday the guy isnāt as good as Randyā¦ it took Randy Waldrum some time through experimenting but at least he got it right but a little bit lateā¦ As time is required to adapt to a certain style of Play.. (The game model) is a Broader Concept than formations. As the style of play can be applied to different formations. To be Successful a Coach must have a clear idea of the Football he or she wants his/her team to play.. With Specific instructions on how to behave in any given situationā¦ Iām happy with the Continuity from Randy at Least he already knows who and who fits his game plan and who and who he needs in the team to make it betterā¦! 1 Like |

lovewins: I guess his package wasnāt improved Hurray Letās see what he can achieve in 4 years Wafcon gold, possibly Olympics gold and FIFA World Cup bronze I think they face Cameroun and South Africa next in Olympics qualifiers Huge but surmountable tasks The only down side is that the Falcons member that gave an interview somewhat bashing Waldrum may never play for Nigeria again even if players are injured Ngozi Okobi Never say never though |

Hoping our goalie gets a move to a better club that can really challenge for trophies |
Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by Deltamani: 5:01pm On Jan 15 |
yinkeys: Hmm š¤ Maybe or Maybe notā¦ But again that position have been filled already and I donāt think weāre lacking any thereā¦ Tony Payne, Onyi Echegini and other Youngsters, itās a matter of consistency right now but again it clearly looks like she didnāt really fit into Randyās pattern of Play. |

yinkeys:Even our goalie herself needs some slight improvements here and there. She struggles with good long range shots. |

Re: Nigeria Female National Teams' Thread by naptu2: 10:57pm On Jan 15 |
yinkeys: 2016 was held in Cameroon. Nigeria won. Asisat Oshoala was highest goalscorer and second best player. Gabrielle Aboudi Onguene was best player. There was a massive crowd at the final (Nigeria vs Cameroon). Gaelle Enganamouit was rushed back from injury for the tournament. That was the year that Desire Oparanozie scored that stunning freekick goal against South Africa. 2012 was held in Equatorial Guinea and they also won it. That was the era of Genoveva Anonman Nze, the Simpore Sisters (or brothers), etc. 2008 was also held in Equatorial Guinea and they also won it. The Equato-Guineans had a habit of taking players from other countries, so there were Nigerians, Brazilians, etc in their team. Some of their opponents complained that some of their players were actually men. 2004 was the wrestling final. The Cameroonians came to fight wrestling, not play football, but Nigeria won with a hat-trick from Perpetua Nkwocha and a goal by Vera Okolo. WAFCON is always played in October/November. 4 Likes 1 Share |
