Hey guys this was my first jamb and I applied for medicine and never thought I wouldn't write post ume but never had the experience of one and I applied for medicine and sugery and I scored 72 but the cut off is 79 and I'm not from catchment area nor ELD so I wanna know if there is any hope
NB I didn't apply for Coc pls help me out thanks

Hello same here..we are n d same shoes. I even had 69 and am seriously praying for admisson in med in unilag. All i have to tell you is to pray and have faith in God because even for you sake the principles could be ammended. Lets just pray hard
By the way, do you hve an idea of when the supplementary list would be released??

Same situation..got 73.88 but did coc..cuz i dnt trust unilag to be that nice..besides..u dnt knw d number of ppl dah got above ur score but below 79 nd waiting fr this kinda thing too but juz hope nd pray..anything is possible wiv God

No i wanted to do coc but i heard that it wasnt possible for those who applied for medicine.

To the best of my knowledge supplementary list consist of candidates who applied for coc, candidates who reached cutoff marks of other courses could be given a different course, candiates who didnt reach the cut off mark of thier courses but would be considered due to cachement area and definetlycandidates who sorted out might also be on this list.

there's hope that you'll be admitted but not for Medicine and Surgery ( cos a lot of students must have gotten above 72 but scored below 79 and some of them are even from a catchment or ELDS).....Not doing COC reduces your chances of being admitted though( if they're gonna consider you for Medicine and surgery, they will, whether you did COC or not)

Am an example of such people. Unilag might just move us automatically to another course in the same department we applied to.

Pray she gets higher than that cus I'm just 1 mark away from pharmacy and I also had Strait b's too in my 5 sub combo

If someone did coc tho' but his score was really close to mbbs cutoff..is there a chance he might get mbbs or another course related to it in d supplementary list?
