Sadly the issue is not attracting enough international attention. Unfortunately Nigerian xtians dont understand the concept of sunni and shia muslims. The nigerian army is simply commiting genocide. Those of you supporting this will bury your heads in shame when the story is told in international news years later.
Remember, ppl also supported the massacres in Rwanda until the issue attracted international condemnation

You are speaking out of share ignorance. You have no idea who this Shiites are and the level of violence they are able to cause. I grew up in Kaduna and hv escaped death several times because of the actions of this sect. Even other Muslims fear them. They answer only to El zakzaki their leader, not even the President can control them. Elrufai is just being cautious, they are the reason he wanted the religious bill to be passed

This government are not smart at all. Why start a problem that'll outlast this government?

What if Iran finds a way to fund & arm shia sect in Nigeria?

What if they decide to arm Niger delta militants and cripple our oil sector? Both Saudi and Iran will be the benefactors cos oil prices will likely rise.

Nigerian military cannot handle another insurgency. They neither have the equipments nor the manpower to fight at multiple points in Nigeria.
