rheether: Say that to the Indonesians,Chinese,Italians,Indians ,Brits ,Ethiopians ,Cameroonians,Israelis and Nigerians in their thousands who've made Kenya their home for decades - the difference between you and them is that they see opportunity where you focus on pessimism and defeatist attitude. If you always just focussed on the enormous pressures, the enormous heat and the back breaking work you will always certainly miss the enormous rewards of mining that valueable diamond. 14 Likes 3 Shares |

rheether: Shakitibob0: Let me tell the following story, which I hope will help broaden your rather narrow minds....... Once, there was this struggling shoe making company in Europe, which was forced to seek for market in other places around the world in which to sell its shoes. It considered places in Africa or Asia....... One day, it decided to send two of its employees, at different times, to the different places of this country in the deep of Africa, in an expedition intended to assess the viability of launching a business there for its shoes. The first man arrived in Africa, and he was completely baffled by the primitiveness of the people in that country. Nobody was wearing shoes. They all moved about in loin clothes. They were living in wattle huts. The society was largely unsophisticated. He was disgusted . He couldnt bear staying there another day. The next day he left back for Europe, and informed his bosses that there is no way their shoes would sell in such savage country in Africa. "Why?" He was asked, " Because the people there DO NOT EVEN WEAR SHOES! THE LAND IS SO POOR" Her responded. The second prospector however stayed a bit longer studying the market, and returned back to his company's more than a week later, looking very happy and excited and carrying nothing more than a primitive bag made of animal skin. He barged into his boss's office and said, "I think we have hit a gold mine down there in Africa!" He said, quite incoherently, "We need to rush down there, before anybody else beats us to the opportunities!" "Why do u say so?" Asked one of his seniors. He answered "Because the people there DO NOT WEAR SHOES! AND THAT LAND IS SO WEALTHY!" "Look" He went on, I have not returned with the luggage I carried to Africa, because those people were so fascinated by my clothes, the bags, the boots.....I exchanged them all for these pieces of gold and diamonds! (Showing the continents in the skin bag) We are going to b e stinking rich!" Therefore brothers, u cannot dismiss other countries u know nothing about as useless. There are always opportunities abound in those places. If there are no shoes or clothes in Kenya, rather than deriding them, why not instead sell them the clothes and shoes from Nigeria and make some money? Your brother above has a vision lacking in both of u. FYI, Kenya is not a backwater country as u seem to both imagine 38 Likes 2 Shares |

Shakitibob0:If I understand the Nigerian English well, u are saying "I have no work", right? Well then, everybody who takes their time to post comments on this board have no work. FYI, it is almost 5pm here in Kenya. Most of us are done for the day, going out to Party the weekend away. We leave our places of work earlier on Fridays 6 Likes 2 Shares |

Saveasoul:If u can survive in Lagos, u can pretty much survive anywhere, bro. Do not be scared. you'll need the same precautions that you would take to survive anywhere in Nigeria. Kenya is just like any other African country. A kenyan visitors Visa is obtained at the airport on arrival.it costs about 50 dollars. But I am just wondering, what kind of business are u seeking to start in Kenya. It wont be easy, whatever'll be your venture here, but it is worth a try. 6 Likes |

Saveasoul:Offcourse you can. All you need to do is prepare your mind. With little capital u can start up something and u will surely succeed. As for travelling I will advice you to travel from accra ghana. Kenya is visa on arrival. But please don't move from Nigeria cos u might be denied entry. U need hotel reservations and yellow fever. 300k is enough for ur movement but you can still have more. 3 Likes |

cutieme: Catastrophe1: Where did you get this info from? I Have been to nairobi more than a dozen times. All you need is just your yellow card, your passport and your ticket. All you need do is to defend the purpose of your trip at entry. You get and pay for your ticket on arrival. 1 Like |

Hbuyosh:Kenya needs to start being picky. The gov't needs to prioritize investors or immigrants who bring in specialized skills...people who add value to the economy.Too many average Joe's will only add up to being a huge underclass. 3 Likes |
