I have been in a few relationships, won't say how many tongue

But I have noticed that phone calls are always important to girls, I won't call a woman 5 times a day but I can call twice and each will last minimum 20mins if she is free, that still isn't enough, so I have 2 questions
1: how many calls a day is enough?
2: why is it so important?
