Yes you do not fight a war you are not prepared for, but not at the expense of freedom. If someone comes to fight with the aim of enslaving you, you do not say "sorry Im not prepared". You fight with anything you got and if you lose, at least you can hold your head up high and say you didnt go down without a fight.
