Luminous has many counterfeit out there. I deal in mercury and I get it from reliable sources. 200ah is 105k and 95k after swap with ur bad 200ah.

100ah is 55k and 50k after swap with ur bad 100ah.

It depends on how you drain them per cycle. If you drain it below 11v most of the time, it won't last upto 2 years. 1-2 years on the average if used properly and you can still get extra though at a reduced working efficiency.

So, the way you use it matters alot.

Mine is a 3.5KVA system which I have used for about 3 years now. Yet, I can still get about 8 hours of back up power if it is charge for at least 4 hours. It used to give me over 60 hours at installation, but then I miscaformed by adding 2 fridges, 1 AC and washing machine. My mind is still telling me that that could be the reason why my batteries are not operating as efficiently as they used to in early 2014...

That's 1KVA. I hope your apartment ain't too big for it...

I am also using a 1.5 KVA inverter with 2 nos 200AH batteries inverter system in a 2 bedroom flat we use as office, which usually runs from 7am to 6pm everyday. If there is no power for 3 straight days, we are usually covered and don't use the petrol generator...
