I hope you still remember the Roman proverb Si vis pacem, para bellum, this is the base on which the declaration of Peace and Safety is built.

In a kind of ironic way, the meaning of the saying is that if you want peace then prepare for war, and the more peace you want the more strongly you should prepare for war.

Now, America's power is built on two foundations: Military power and Economic power. Russia, China, Iran and other countries in that block have developed weapons that have destroyed America's military advantage over them. Military power can no longer be projected as the given the spectre of Mutually Assured Destruction.

So the preparation for war (or declaration of peace and safety) moves to the economic battle field. What is America's weapon in the economic battlefield: the Dollar. This is the world's most r]preferred reserve currency, and by using its currency, America can fight any country, bringing them to their knees through sanctions and other unilateral punitive actions.

The point I am making is that the declaration of Peace and Safety is in the economic sphere, because it cannot be in the military sphere, the reason being that (1.) God has declared the tribulations over, and (2.) Unilateral military power is broken.

If we go back to the Bible, we will see how God describes the fall of Babylon:

You can see from these descriptions that Babylon is projected mainly as an economic power. She traded in everything including in the souls of men, and through her merchandise the kings and queens of the earth were made rich and prosperous.

You need to understand how sweet and useful the Dollar is in international trade, and the importance of the cross-payment platforms that America controls including SWIFT.

The economic front is the place where Peace must be enforced.

The Russian president said that the US is forcing a number of countries to abandon the dollar in international payments. “This is a typical mistake of an empire. Our American friends are undermining confidence in the dollar as a single currency,” Putin said.

“European countries want to trade with Iran. They do not believe that Tehran violated any conditions of the nuclear deal. Therefore something like an alternative to SWIFT international payment system is being invented,” the president said.

By waging war economically with Russia and China, and Iran, and the rest of the world, America, via the Roman logic of Si vis pacem, para bellum, is declaring Peace and Safety upon the world.

America will likely sanction Saudi Arabia for Journalist khashoggi's death, and we must note that this will bring another twist to the ongoing declaration of peace and safety. In the 70s when the dollar was removed from gold backing, and the petrodollar was created, the creation was with the active connivance and participation of the saudi authorities.

If America attacks Saudi via the dollar (through sanctions), it is another death knell on the dollar because Saudi may retaliate and influence the Muslim bloc of nations to start rejecting the dollar. If dollar dies, America ends.

Now we need to understand that the end of America is what God will do by himself alone, there will be no human mediation, so all this rabble rousing is just to create the perfect circumstance for God to intervene. The circumstance is that Peace and Safety must be declared and must be the ongoing discussion at the coming of Christ.

Historically, America has always ignored Saudi crimes but this will likely change given Trump's belligerent engagement with Islam since he became president, which is different from Obama's method of accommodation. So, very likely America will sanction Saudi. And these sanctions will definitely have consequences, on the petrodollar, and on the world.

All sanctions on Iran lifted under the 2015 nuclear deal will be back in force on November 5, the US administration has announced.

The sweeping sanctions will see 700 people blacklisted, the US Treasury has announced. These include persons that were granted relief under the 2015 deal, as well as over 300 new names, Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin told reporters.

Sanctions will also target payments through the special mechanism that the EU has been creating specifically to avoid Washington’s penalties and to keep buying Iranian oil.

Mnuchin has also threatened sanctions against the transaction service SWIFT.

“SWIFT is no different than any other entity,” Mnuchin told reporters. “We have advised SWIFT that it must disconnect any Iranian financial institutions that we designate as soon as technologically feasible to avoid sanctions exposure.”

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has confirmed earlier reports that eight nations will receive exemptions from the reimposed penalties, but refused to name them and said the EU as a singular entity was not among them. Earlier reports suggested that the list of exemptions would include Japan, India and South Korea.

Pompeo has released a list of 12 demands for Iran to comply with if it wants the sanctions lifted. These include halting all nuclear and ballistic missile development, as well as ending what Washington calls Tehran’s “support for terrorism,” and withdrawing from the Syrian conflict.

“Our ultimate aim is to compel Iran to permanently abandon its well-documented outlaw activities and behave as a normal country,” Pompeo said. More details will become available on Monday as the sanctions take effect, he announced.

Tehran is dismissing the sanctions, saying it is fully capable of managing its economy despite the resultant pressure.

“The new US sanctions will mostly have psychological effects,” Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Bahram Qasemi said on state TV. The US will not attain its political goals through such sanctions, he added.

This is the second batch of sanctions to be re-imposed after US President Donald Trump pulled the US out of the landmark deal, which was signed by Iran and six world powers in 2015. They cover Iran’s shipping, finance and energy sectors; and penalize other countries that don’t stop dealing with Tehran.

Since its withdrawal, the US has been pursuing the policy of “maximum pressure” on Iran, much to the chagrin of the European signatories, who have long praised the Obama-era agreement and attested to its effectiveness. The EU has been working on creating special payment channels to continue importing Iranian oil legally. This was set to be “symbolically ready” by the time sanctions kick back in.

The sanctions against Iran will ratchet up by the 5th of November.

This is the Peace and Safety that the Bible warned us all about.
