Yeah my grandparents are from Avu LG. Used to go their for holidays in those days.

Fry meat in palm oil till brown, add beef stock, pepper, salt, maggi to taste. Add vegetables (Ugwu and okazi). Stockfish, ponmo or bushmeat make it taste way better. You can thicken the soup with small pounded yam.

well in this one naija movie she was singing a song in igbo about owerri soup. lol
its very PRIZED and its not cheap. its kinda like Isi Ewu, a very expensive dish.

yes I can. okra, egusi, moi moi name dem, I've watched my mother and I try to learn everything. I've never seen her prepare 'owerri' soup.
