I actuallyhave a "Strong's Bible Concordance" which interpretes key words in the bible from the text it was originally written in and can confrim to you based on the hebrew/ greek words that were used in the original bible pre-marital sex does not form part of what was defined as sin of fornication. How ever, in the English language Fornication may include pre- marital sex. So essentially i submit that pre-marital sex is not what was being refered to inthe bible as the sin of fornication. To clarify my point further, i would post the real definition of biblical fornication based on the original text of the bible tomorrow

Kunle you are right. For many to understand the bible, I think that there needs to be clarity and an understanding of the greek, aramaic, and hebrew version.

lets assume pre marital sex is not sin (I don't agree sha). I am sure many of us has been in a relationship that didn't work out even though we had the intention of getting married initially. So we sleep with the person because u plan to marry him or her then u break up (for whatever reason), then u meet some1 else and u were so sure that he/she is the ONE then u have sex with him/her again but something happens (maybe genotype prob) then u break up again then it goes on and on and on and on and on, U've end up sharing the thing meant for your husband with 10 people yet u have not sinned.

Infact, 'white weddings' existed even in the bible days; a King in the NT condemend a man for coming to his son's wedding without a wedding garment, which gives the impression of a 'white wedding setting', etc. . .

Personally I believe that in as much as it is not wrong for christians to get married in court et al., it is more ideal to be married by a Reverend/Pastor/endless titles in the company of a few believers; witnesses. It does not have to be in a church and you dont have to be in 'white wedding dress and suit'; for those who cant afford the luxury or want a quiet wedding.

dictionary say that fornication is an extra marital affair which taken in its simplest form indicates that only married people can by guilty of fornication

fornication with a married man/woman other than your spouse is adultery

The greek word for For fornication is pornei>a pronouced as por-ni-ah. The word porneu was also used to describe fornication. posted below are the accurate English translation.
