Just Got Back From Ibadan Yesterday And This Is What I Saw First Hand by Nobody: 4:39pm On Jan 03, 2017 |
I'm appealing to Nigerian government and relevant agencies to come to the aid of people in Ibadan. People are suffering, no food, no water, children are out of school. Parents have been laid off and unpaid. This recession is destroying lives in Ibadan. What pains me is SW media are hiding this from all of us in pretense that everything is fine. My wife couldn't stop crying as she was traumatized by the suffering. I visited Ibadan 7 times under GEJ, and it was never this bad. What did SWners do to deserve this from Buhari? Buhari...Kilode? As I write this now, my wife has contacted American Red Cross for humanitarian aid for Ibadan people. This is not a tribal thread as I did not mention any tribe, so any attempt to derail this thread, you will be reported and banned permanently. I'll be uploading pictures 46 Likes 7 Shares |

saint7000: Prove or remain shut. When an Igbo man tell you something. Before you reject it ask yourself. Is there anything I will gain if he is right? If there is any, agree with him. We reason in terms of gain and lose. Forget sentiment, our belle come first. Biafra is about the belle not sentiment. We want a secure future. 19 Likes |

By the time Buhari is done with this country, Nigerians will be slim fit like him not by choice but through hunger. 20 Likes 1 Share |

Twistaray: We agree with each other...if you look at your post, this happened in SW...Lagos River. Whether he is Igbo, Yoruba or Hausa is irrelevant as I didn't mention any tribe...I said people are suffering. So could be any tribe. What is underpinning is...it's in SW. Have I clarified myself? I warned earlier, do not tribalize this thread...AS I DID NOT MENTION ANY TRIBE! 27 Likes |

saint7000:People that used to see free money no longer see free money and u pitying for em. Why not help em if yoh can from your pocket?? must the government do everything for Nigeria?? who you epp recently?? There is recession in the whole of Nigeria, the only people enjoying now are the people that have had private investments or entrepreneurs, its even worse in my own state(the presidents state) but we still keeping our arms folded and hoping. Creating a thread and complaining wouldn't change a dime cos poverty walks on four feet it Nigeria at the moment. Best we can do is develop that entrepreneurship spirit xos Government interventions in Nigeria never solve a ptoblem, they only ameliorate for a while and bang the suffering continues. 4 Likes |

saint7000:Nice one at least you have made a move. When i visited ma villa laste year, i went to a restaurant, i hadn't even finished eating wanted to grab a drink from the fridge next thing i knew, some Almajari have already started devouring my meal. I was shocked. Infact had to buy extra for em. The poverty in the north is an eyesore. I wish birtb control can be enforced in Nigeria and the rich people should be taxed heavily as well. cos the disparity between poverty and wealth in Nigeria is too much 13 Likes |

And an Enugu-based Trader I know also just got busted for trafficking Cocaine through Abuja Airpot all because Recession is killing SE traders and kicking them out of business in an unprecedented fashion.. Even SaharaReporters sef carried the news. So sad, really. http://saharareporters.com/2017/01/03/ndlea-arrests-34-year-old-man-wit-h%C2%A338m-cocaine-stuffed-shoe-soles "There was an arrest at the weekend of a 34-year old suspect, Okolo Emenike Kingsley, who hails from Ezeagu, Enugu State. The motorcyle parts dealer said that he was offered the sum of N1 million to smuggle the drug to Nigeria. Investigation is ongoing, and the suspect is cooperating with our team of undercover officers.” The suspect, who is married and has a child, said he was forced into becoming a mule because motorcycle parts business has been hit by recession. The failure of his business, he added, made him travel to in search of job opportunity to Brazil, where his financial difficulties continued. 30 Likes 2 Shares

Let's not cover ourselves but expose, report the reality of what's on ground. The OP was wrong after all,and only trying to cover the truth by denying that 'it' isn't affected by the so called recession'. Here is another news, recession biting on the OP tribe. Let's always be honest with ourselves abeg : The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja yesterday announced the discovery of parcels containing cocaine weighing 9.15kg. 20 Likes 2 Shares |

Yorubas voted for buhari, and we are alert and observing them with their 97% status expecting to see them eating like kings and other southerners eat crumbs from their table.
