Picture below is a TME419 cassava tuber processed into Garri. make no mistake of the even yellowish colour. It is not a Vitamin A garri. Palm oil was added to the grinded tuber before pressing out the starch and left for 2days.

The garri in the picture below can retain it appearance for over 5years. The method used in frying it is the secrete.......

Won't you rather order for our TME419 stem and make a difference. check my signature for my contact

In preparation for another planting season, it will be great if we intending farmers do things right by checking the fertility of that farm u intend putting to use.

Gone are the days we just bury seed, cover with soil and go home to sleep expecting bountiful harvest. Presently, the soil that have even be left for 39years to fallow is been discovered to lack vital nutrients due to natural environmental forces like
1. Erosion
2. global warming
3. Deforestation
4. depletion of the ozone layer
just to mention a few

All these above mention forces are beyond the control of man and as such the only way we farmers can cope with them is to test our soil to know how much they have been affected so that we can ameliorate the soil before farming.
do not be deceived with the saying that "God has blessed our soil" and as such follow the ignorant internet farmers who will say testing your soil fertility is of no use.....

call kenfarm today and u will be glad u did the right thing at harvest time

Ideally, fertilizer recommendations should be based on soil analysis but when this is not done then use the land history and vegetation as a guide.

Lands naturally inundated with Chromolaena odorata (Akintola taku) as weed can support a good cassava crop without fertilizer while the presence of Spear grass or poorly established vegetation is a signal for fertilization.

Under continuous cultivation in the forest zone apply a first dose of 200kg (4 bags) of N: P: K 15:15:15 per hectare or a full small matchbox per plant at 4-6 weeks after planting (June-July). A second dose of 100kg of muriate of potash or a half-full small matchbox per plant at 14-16 weeks after planting (September) should also be applied.

In the savanna zone, apply 200kg (4 bags) of N: P: K 15:15:15 per hectare or a full small matchbox per plant at 4-6 weeks after planting and a second dose of 50kg of muriate of potash per hectare. Apply fertilizer in holes 5 cm deep and 10 cm radius from the plant. Do not apply fertilizer if the soil is dry.

Season greatings to all our esteem and potential customers!!!!!!
May this new awaited planting season be a testimony to all farmers....

Gradually we are attracting the attention of our Government. It is our belief that soonest Agriculture will take up the stage in the Nigeria Economy..

We at kenfarm wish to bring the below info to the notice of our potential fatmers and those hoping to put that idle land of thires to use this farming season.......

Are we aware that soil in the tropical zone when brought under cultivation quickly become deficient in many nutrients due to LEACHING caused by excessive rainfall

Also, we wish to inform you that With intensive cropping, nitrogen is the primary limiting nutrient followed by phosphorus......(more info in our eBook).

Also, are we aware that the most suitable soil for cassava production is a well-drained sandy loam and loamy sand soil base on Research

If this is the case, don't we think it wise to test for your soil fertility before puting that farm land to cultivation of TME419 cassava stem

The soil fertility test will reveal the lacking nutrient in your farm land soil, it will indicate the soil PH, it will tell you soil textural class so as to know the type of soil you have in your farm land.

All of these soil properties and more are what kenfarm will test and also give concise recommendations base on your soil fertility test outcome.

Ignorance is never an reason for failure....do the needful before cultivating that land

Good luck
Cheers!!

Are we aware that among the food crops grown on African soil, cassava is particularly tolerant of drought and grows well even in areas with only a three months rainfall of 600mm.....But it important to also note that sofar, the type of cassava stem that produce the highest yield and resistant to pest, also rich in starch which can be used either ethanol, fufu, or garri is TME419 cassava stem.

Contact kenfarm for your freshly cut TME419 copy.....we are the leading supplier. We can supply you any number of bundles needed to cover your farm

Please is the 3 operation of farm cultivation not necessary? are we only to plough

Ideally, for large portion of land (starting from a hectare), it is advisable to use mechanized operation for land preparation – ploughing, harrowing and ridging. This operation will help to save cost and time compared to man labour which is tedious and expensive.
