My predictions for this homogenous group B of ours: - Argentina Vs Nigeria : 1-1 - Nigeria Vs Korea Rep : 3-2 - Greece Vs Nigeria : 0-0 People underestimate Greece, A LOT. Sure, they aren't a flamboyant team but damn they are tough to play. You will see how difficult it will be to get past their defensive line. Ask Sheva's Ukraine, Argentina are definitely not the same ogres they were back in 2006. Maradona isn't doing too well. They have issues with their defense and tactics. Messi remains a huge threat though. I use my reserve card on Korea Republic. I'd have prefered Naija to play their neighbour's of the North, Good luck Super Eagles. With discipline we can do this! |

I wish to add my voice to the ongoing discourse about the Super Eagles chances of qualifying for the Round of 16. I honestly believe anything can happen between now and JUNE that will gift NIGERIA an edge. I vividly remember in the run-up to the 2002 World Cup, ARGENTINA was a dreaded team and BATISTUTA (was it?) even commented that if the World Cup were played in JANUARY of that year, he's positive that ARGENTINA would win it. But by JUNE, he can't be too sure. The rest is history: ARGENTINA got booted out at the Group stage. We shouldn't discount our chances but look onto GOD who made it possible for us to feature at the mundial. I pray NIGERIA gets things right and take a solid team to SA. Then, dem go bow. |

WHY IS EVERY 1 YAPPING ABOUT IVORY COAST BEEN IN A GROUP OF DEATH? WHAT OF GHANA'S GROUP? THIS DRAW LOOKS FISHY O! WHY DID ALL THE AFRICAN TEAMS WITH GRIT -IVORY COAST, GHANA, 9JA- GET VERY TOUGH GROUPS WITH THE REMAINING AFRICAN TEAMS PUT IN GROUPS WHERE THEY CAN BE EASY PICKINGS FOR THEIR OPPONENTS?IS THAT THE LUCK OF THE DRAW ? IS IT ONLY ME OR IS THIS A REAL CONSPIRACY THEORY? |

I honestly see the hands of IWU in this draws, because mere chance cannot explain the reason that Nigeria is always in the same group with Argentina in every world cup Nigeria qualifies for. Also how can our group be identical with that of USA 94 with the exception of Bulgaria. No wonder the same teams keep winning the world cup again and again. Watch our for INEC type refereeing at the world cup. |

while most seem 2 have underestimated greece, i remain weary cos this greece is stronger than greece of 94 and these eagles are weaker than eagles of 94. |
