Seriously? Why? If you do, someone would think it's "secure" and start his own crappy startup.

What's the essence of building a payment gateway if it won't be secured in the first place?

I'm so not with you, it not like just hosting and coding..... You need something more like a license to start accepting atm cards and you'll need credibility, it takes no fewer than a year for Nigerians to say maybe its not a scam payment processor and another 2years for serious people to integrate your payment processor.

Except if you want waec and jamb runz website to integrate your payment gateway on their website, if you don't want that, you'll need big capital and plenty of time

My aim wasn't to teach anybody how to run the business of payment gateway but to enlighten us how the process of building gateway works and how to better integrate the existing payment gateway into our projects.......................

So what are the intricacies of building a payment gateway?
I think voguepay, etc simply harness backend end apis of payment providers like interswitch etc
that do the processing for them. They dont actually implement all the codes from scratch.

That said, we do need payment systems that are better than we now how. We're suffering..
We need something like paypal here.
