It's even written that the whales and other animals were created , I think , on the fourth day , mind you , whales were not even existing some million years ago but dinosaurs were already existing. Why were there no mention of dinosaurs or other planets in the Bible , I'll tell you why , it's because those who wrote the Bible had no prior knowledge of these things , if they knew they would have incorporated it into the Bible. The Bible , and all other Holy Books , are just human constructs.
