Atheism is the absence of a system and when you negate the spiritual, you hardly go back.

I can's see an an Atheist who was once a Christian becoming a Muslim or a Jew. It's out right impossible. They can embrace a philosophy but never a spirituality.

My very first post on NL and it is to express my respect and admiration for people who have come to realize how irrational the whole idea of God and faith are. I was born a christian (my dad was a minister during his lifetime) but my life without any belief in God, angels, ghosts, unicorns, the tooth fairy, etc has been the most satisfying.
