Please bro, you seem to know about labour related issues. I have a situation where my employer sacked me under questionable circumstance and has refused to release my letter of sack. They claim I might sue them(learnt this from former colleagues in the system). Please, how would you advice I go about it?

Tough luck...

difference between 'then' & 'now' is that 2 years ago, people were even resigning from their jobs to go into private business... then, sack was not the end of the world because there was hope & opportunities abound...

fast forward to today... a sack has become death sentence... even if you are paid gratuity/paid off, the value of the money is nothing to write home about...
