Gospel singer, Busola Oke, aka Eleyele, is not pleased with secular artiste, Keshinro Ololade, popularly known as Lil Kesh, and she is not hesitant in making it known..



Oke has alleged that Ololade infringed on her copyright with the release of his song, Undertaker. Eleyele stated that elements of her 15-year-old eponymous single were used in Lil Kesh’s song which was released on February 29.



In a chat with Sunday Scoop, Eleyele fumed that she would make a scapegoat of Lil Kesh. She said, “His manager called me and told me they wanted to use my song and I told them I didn’t understand. I told them that they should discuss whatever they wanted with my lawyer. Later, my lawyer told me that they had called him and that he told them not to use the song. A week later, Lil Kesh’s song was released. I think they had already used the song before they called us. We have been trying to reach him since then. Teacher who Donated Salary To Poor Students; Wins $1M Global Prize

A 36-year-old science teacher from rural Kenya, who donates most of his salary to help poorer students, has been crowned the world’s best teacher and awarded a $1m prize, beating 10,000 nominations from 179 countries.

Peter Tabichi, a maths and physics teacher at Keriko secondary school in Pwani Village in Kenya, won the Varkey Foundation Global Teacher Prize 2019 and received his prize at a ceremony in Dubai hosted by actor Hugh Jackman.

Tabichi gives away 80% of his income to help the poorest students at the poorly-equipped and overcrowded school who could not otherwise not afford uniforms and books.

More than 90% of his pupils are from poor families and almost a third are orphans or have only one parent. Drug abuse, teenage pregnancies, dropping out early from school, young marriages and suicide are common.



Students have to walk 7km along roads that can become impassable in the rainy season to reach the school and the area can be affected by drought and famine.

Nine nurses in the same labour unit are all pregnant at the same time

In a rather ironical tale, nine nurses who work in the labor and delivery unit at a hospital in Maine are all pregnant and are expecting their babies in the coming months.

Maine Medical Center made the announcement via Facebook on Monday. The Facebook post featured eight of the nine nurses and their bumps.

The pregnant nurses are expecting their babies throughout April and July.

Six yahoo boys arrested in Ibadan by EFCC, exotic cars recovered[center][/center]

Six yahoo boys has been arrested by the EFCC during a raid at their apartments within the Kolapo Ishola Estate, in Akobo area of Ibadan.





The boys identified as; Tella Adefemi Ibrahim, Awoniyi Adeseye Abiodun, Oladele Olawale Wasiu, Olabiti Afeez Ajibola, Akeredolu Oluwafemi Temidayo and Oyaremi Olalekan Olabode, have been arrested in Ibadan by EFCC operatives.



The suspects arrested were between the ages of 24-30. Here is the full statement from the EFCC below;

Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Ibadan Zonal Office, on Tuesday, March 26, 2019 swooped on a location suspected to be a hideout of internet fraudsters following series of intelligence from residents of the area on their alleged fraudulent activities.

American Singer and actor, Jennifer Lopez, has courted controversy after saying that men are useless until they turn 33.

During Tinder’s Swipe Sessions, Jennifer Lopez, was giving out an advice to a woman, Brooke – who was searching for a partner on the platform.

The two women swiped through Brooke’s Tinder options together and after stumbling upon 29-year-old social media manager Maurice, J.Lo said;

“GUYS, UNTIL THEY’RE 33, ARE REALLY USELESS.”

Osun State can’t afford to pay the new 30k Naira minimum wage – Oluwo of Iwoland

Flamboyant Nigerian monarch, Oluwo of Iwoland, Rasheed Akanbi has said the Osun State Government might be unable to sustain its current wage bill let alone pay the new N30, 000 minimum wage unless it overhauls the civil service.

Oba Akanbi said, ;

“Osun is sick. The governor, Oyetola, may not be able to say this truth because he is a politician. But I am a royal father. I should be good to tell the truth always. It will be tough for the state to pay the new minimum wage, unless there is a complete overhaul of the civil service.

“The current wage bill of the state government cannot be sustained. The civil service needs overhaul. A situation whereby 26 drivers will be attached to two vehicles must stop.”

As part of ways out of the situation, the royal father said unproductive civil servants must be made productive by government and be deployed where their skills would be useful. He added, “Also, aggressive revenue generation through internally generated revenue, especially from the informal sector, would be of help to government.”

Police arrest woman who tortured and released nude videos of her sister’s husband’s mistress

A short video went viral few days back showing a woman beating and disgracing a lady said to be her sister’s husband’s mistress surfaced online.



The woman in the videos claimed that the mistress had the effrontery to come into her sister’s matrimonial home to have sex with her husband.

Instead of blaming cheating husband, the lady decided to humilate the mistress by stripping her naked in public and flogging her. Read previous report here

After much public outcry as many Nigerians were disappointed after seeing punishment meted out to the mistress, the police has stepped into the matter and arrested the woman that humiliated her.



A statement from the state police command says the mistress who reported the matter, said she met the man on Facebook and he never informed her that he was married.

We don’t serve Nigerians – Racist Shi Shi Chinese restaurant in Lagos

The Shi Shi Chinese restaurant in Lagos, has been reported not to serve Nigerians and do not allow Nigerians on their premises.

According to an investigation by a Punch reporter who visited the restaurant to make their findings on the claims by some Nigerians who had taken to social media to report the Shi Shi Chinese restaurant in Lagos, the restaurant is located on 21B, Emina Crescent, Off Toyin Street, Ikeja, Lagos.

Respondents on a social media post about the restaurant say only Chinese are allowed entry, though findings showed that Nigerians and other Blacks are allowed patronage if they are accompanied by a Chinese.

On visiting the restaurant, a secuirty man on ground prevented the reporter from gaining entry

“Who are you looking for?” the guard, a Nigerian, asked.

He then made it clear that the reporter is not allowed on the premises and that was the instructions given to him by the management

It was gathered that the restaurant operates from 11am to 4pm daily.

Building collapses in Ibadan, two days after the tragic experience in Lagos

Report has it that a building has collapsed in Ibadan the Oyo State capital. The news is coming barely two days after a building collapsed in Lagos State killing 20 persons with 41 survivors.

The collapsed building in Ibadan is at Bode area after Molete bridge.

The report say people are still trapped and there are no equipments to rescue them from the rubble.

The casualty toll at the time of filing this report is not clear but a crowd is currently gathered at the scene of the building collapse.

More details about the rescue mission at the collapsed site will be published as soon as information comes in.

Oyedepo finally breaks silence on the Presidential Election in Nigeria.

Bishop David Oyedepo of the Living Faith Church has lampooned the presidential and National Assembly elections which he believes were rigged.

Speaking during the Sunday service at the Church headquarter in Ota, Ogun State, Oyedepo mocked the irregularities that marred the exercise and also prayed that Nigeria would not experience another war as a result of the remaining elections.

Oyedepo said: “Other developed countries around the world had developed their mode of voting into a digitised method, but it’s a shame that in Nigeria, we still queue up to vote, and somebody would still be intimidated by thugs. With these, it’s a shame how politicians in this part of the world are proud of elections marred with rigging.

“In Covenant University, any student caught indulging in examination malpractice, is gone. It does not matter if his or her father is the head of United Nations or not.”

Davido paid £55,000 to wait for seats to be filled at 02 Arena

Afropop star, Davido has newly disclosed that he was left with no choice than to pay a sum of £55,000 so as to make his 02 Arena show begin late.

The singer, while speaking to DJ Ebro on Hot 96 FM in New York, said;

“I was scared though, because … first of all, you know how we Africans do, we’re always late, we take time

Sharing the photo to Instagram, the actress reminisced on the woman she was in the past and how she was constantly broke because she believed affordable clothes were beneath her.
