Nigeria just broke Jail! # points is good but this team is going no where. They dont have the energy or drive to move forward. Dont blame Amodu or just Yakubu. Overall, the team is poor and that is a reflection of the corruption and mis-management that goes on in the NFF (and the whole country, in a wider perspective) We keep recycling old Politicians and l am not surprised we are recycling very tired old players like Yakubu an Kanu. Any serious country that wants to play good football and make waves will have two tings which Nigeria does not have: 1.) A viable local league 2.) Football Academies and collegiate football (like Principal's Cup of old) to capture talents at the grass root. So please find something else to do and stop blaming one player or the coach, Nigeria is just what it is: a failed state. End of story. BTW: I must heap praises on Danny Shittu. Himself and that Nwosu guy are wonderful. Odewingwe got tired towards the end but still tried. |
