And where did she say all the info you OP posted. On her Facebook page or instagram?

I was going to say that too. Her dressing looked more like that of Virgin Mary. When did Oshun have a stereotypical image to be copied?

A ju won lo, tijakadi ko.

No need to be pained my brother, you can also attach to us by adopting a Yoruba name as your middle name. Many Igbo and others who live in Yoruba land are doing this. Nothing to be ashamed of.

Ask her she 'all tell U she's paying respect to some Egyptian deity which pre-dates Oshun. This was just some random coincidence, no need ascribing credit to Osun.

Jealousy is the root of hatred. cool

That's a fact. Have you ever heard of any Igbo kingdom or empire? It's always hamlets and villages. No real kings, just red capped chiefs.

No real history, just some concocted fable.

This is why people were saying she was paying homage to oshun! Yellow and gold are used to depict osun colours and her dress in also depicts the river goddess. The other day she payed homage to yemoja and dedicated her twins to her. she is trying to go back to her roots. But it's all idolatry and nothing to be proud of!

it is common knowledge that beyonce likes golden attires. she has even confirmed severally about her love for gold. why is this afonja OP spewing his low self esteem all over the place... so her paying homage to some twisted goddess will take all of them out of poverty or replace their brown roofs?
truely, those pple are pathetic!!!!

you guys lack knowledge, the singer is projecting the worship of a deity yet you people are rejoicing because a black like you approves it and many of you are talking about history.even the church goers among you. I even don't how we are identified with such demonic worship; it has kept men in bondage. I rather don't have history than have a history on the worship of a diety. the black man is grossly mistaken. all these celebrities know the message they are passing

religious nigerians, yet the country is a shame. The europeans that brought christianity to us are discarding it per second billing yet you are still stuck with it.Let me ask you a question, if by chance we didnt come in contact with the europeans in the first place, wont we still be practising our traditional religion? by your logic,it means billion of hindus will go to hell because they worship idols.

remove religion aside if you think Beyonce is better off endorse her. you are just speaking because you have not possibly traveled out, so you believe everything they do or approve is the best.

why should i remove religion? religion and corruption are the major vices holding this country down, beyonce is free to express hersef, you dont need to condemn her under religious pretext but please since you are educated, you ought to know that one does not need to travel out to know what is happening around the world,if you know the amount of data, time and energy i used to check international affairs every single day, i doubt you will match that.
