samsard: Majority of agatus are muslims. Who you know does not change that. Not every incident has a religious motive, stop stirring sentiments for no reason. |

CastedDude:.While I strongly condemn the attack on and killing of military personnel, I support community militias set up as self defense against invaders in the face of failed govt protection. We all know what Agatu people suffered last year in the hands of Fulani secret army. |

It is confirmed, ortom is nothing put a bacteria infested pussy. This is one man who had no guts to condemn the genocide committed against his people by fulani herdsmen and now he has the effrontery to talk thrash simply because it has to do with the never-do-well military? Ortom is a big disappointment to this generation |

woodcook: my thought also, its a case of self-defense for a community at the brink of annihilation since the govt failed to protect them. Last time the Agutu people where killed in their hundreds not a single political will was expended to apprehend the perpetrators. Now Agatu people are totally helpless against the destructive force of Fulani herdsmen next time the Fulani desired a killing spree. Am not in support of killing a soldier but only God knows what transpired that led to his death. |

NuclearWinter: Some of you appear to be thinking with their arses and not their brains. Has it ever occurred to you that the NA is composed of multi-ethnoreligious personnel, and if such thing was going on that there was bound to have been an outcry or even mutiny from any group that may consider their brethrens are being unfairly treated? Has it occurred to you that there may be wailers like you among the soldiers carrying out the operation or even the victim soldier could have been one? So you want us to believe that the Aguta ppl are entirely blameless in this conflict and that the Army was therefore wrong to have unearth the evidence against them; while preferring the governor to have taken sides and not taken any action against them? As for your last remark against all Muslims; well your bigotry speaks for itself. 1 Like |

[s] ItsMeAboki:[/s] The army officer Corp has been purged of southerners and Christians. In the middle belt Hausa Fulani NCOs are being drafted to trouble spots like Southern Kaduna and Benue. FYI, during the Jos crisis, the Berom people rejected the army from patrolling their villages because they knew that the majority Hausa Fulani army was supporting their Fulani herdsmen. Fact! This was the only time in Nigeria that the people openly embraced the police instead of the Army Now get back into the toilet you popped out from. Fulani piece of sh1t 1 Share

NuclearWinter: So the Army officer cadre is now made up of Northern Muslims only - how incredulous! Did you actually read what you wrote and for one minute believe that foolishness would be taken seriously? Its amazing how some of you concoct outlandish stories that defy logic and still expect Nigerians are gullible enough to believe it. Well if that was true; then can you pls tell me who was the president and the Chief of Defense during the Jos crisis (and by your logic responsible for lopsided composition) that warranted the Beroms to have rejected the Army from patrolling their villages. By the same token, I can upload a video clip showing how the Beroms were roasting and eating the bodies of Muslims they killed as the police watched and turned a blind eye - this may perhaps explain their preference for the police instead of the Army. 1 Like |

It's an unwritten standard practice by the jihadists. Herdsmen from "Mali, Libia" rustle the cattle of other herdsmen. The owners invade the towns claiming the indigenes stole their cattle. They rape, behead, maim, burn their homes, destroy their food store as well as take over the community. The Police and Army go in. Government calls for peace meeting. The Fulani herdsmen remain on the lands bearing arms. The Army goes in to mop up arms the villagers use to protect themselves, as part of the peace deal. The Police or Army are stationed in the villages not to protect them but to prevent them carrying a reprisal attack. The terrorising herdsmen are not charged for the genocide. After a period of peace and partial occupation by the herdsmen, a farmer kills a cow grazing on his farmland, and all hell is let loose on the community. The cycle goes on and on such that in 3 or 4 farming seasons the jihadist have taken over the villages that its near impossible to chase then out; able bodied men flee to the cities. A MOPOL base, or Army unit is stationed there to prevent the above. In decades they own the place and press for an emirate, control the state politics etc. The so called Governor does practically nothing to protect his people from attacks. In all of this I blame a state governor who chooses to remain foolish, fearful and wicked just because of his political career. The welfare and security of his people is paramount. woodcook: |

Seizing all these weapons from the Agatus will not but make them vulnerable to Fulani Mad men. That must be one goal of the Army. |

Ersan:Well, do you have figures to back that up? and mind you, am an Idoma person. also, you can't separate religious or tribal sentiments from Nigerian issues. I suspect that those who try to do that have an identity issue. |

samsard: As an idoma person you should know better. People who think like you (everything has to do with religion) are exactly whats wrong with this country. And btw, thinking objectively doesnt mean you have an identity issue. |

Ersan:I can only be sorry for any Nigerian who thinks Nigerian issues have nothing to do with religion or ethnicity. I have moved around enough to know that's what Nigerians revolve around. Maybe you live a cocoon. |

samsard: Only an ignorant dolt will believe every issue has somrthing to do with religion or ethnicity. If youve moved around and noticed thats how people think, does that mean things should remain that way? |
