This is one of the aircrafts of the defunct Nigerian Airways. This was even before the logo was turned into an Eagle. The reason was because, it was thought that the Elephant logo was the reason why everything was slow in the airline. So, they changed it into and Eagle.

In fact, this was the particular aircraft that was hijacked by some guys, during the struggle for the actualisation of June 12, 1993 elections. The hijackers were said to be members of an organisation called "Movement for Actualisation of Democracy (MAD)".

This is one of the surviving Airlines in Nigeria. The airline used to do very well when the real owner was managing. Now, it is being run like a family business. Staff now beg the Children-management to pay salaries. In fact, it is so bad that, staff are being paid half salary for 2 months work. The annoying part of it is that, they are making so much, but care less about their staff. If anyone contest this, ask any Chanchangi Airline, and come here and spill the beans.

This brand of aircraft has been phased out of Nigeria. This is Boeing 727. It is very expensive to manage, because of the 3 engines that it carries. This airline is the last that operated it in Nigeria. The last operated by the airline, is resting at Kaduna Airport. May it soul rest in peace, Amen.

Thanks THE.AMAKA. I love the sector so much, but I just can not get a job there, eventhough it is a very sensitive sector, with so much job insecurity. I have been flying (as a passenger) since child hood, and that really exposed me to that sector. Hardly there is an Airline in this country I have not flown with, except Bellview Airline. This is from the era of Nigerian Airways through Okada Air, till date.

Bellview Airline. This is the airline that is currently sick in Nigeria. They are yet to recover, ever since they couldn't airlift their London bound passengers to London. That cost them a fortune. In fact, the local authorities had to intervene to save Nigeria the embarrassment it was beginning to cause her.
