Men of God should respect themselves. shikena. And they should stop squandering church funds on women.

The first thing they really need to do is to get VERIFIED / CERTIFIED as men of God

Thereafter they should learn to keep their dicks in their pants

By asking the real Holy Spirit for help

From the beginning, dealing with with ladies /women secretly always bring a fall to un-prepared men who were not strong enough for ladies/women tactics.

Imagine how Eve in the garden of Eden brought Adam down with her deceitful attitude, and the end result is shame and death.

So, men should be on guard when they are with them at all times, even those in the house with you as a wife too. Some housewives can mislead their husband to do wrongs too.

There's only one way.

Be unconditionally Christ-like.

Before these gods of men do anything,
They should ask themselves the question...

Did Jesus Christ do it?
Or will Jesus Christ do it?

That's all.

the same way apostle Johnson Suleman could not resist the tempting inviting booty call of Daniella okeke. is he even truly a man if God sef?

Even at this point/stage that his knack for misadventure is so obvious... you are still wondering if he is a "true" man of God?

Gullibility at its peak!

The solution is for men of God to lower there gaze, and offcourse the she Sheep's should cover the cleavage, even if you detest wearing Hijab.

It's not only women that seduces, Men too do it using WEALTH, FAME, INFLUENCE, SEXUAL PROWESS etc.

That lady could also have been a victim of seduction. Stop seeing the Apostle as the one being who is (solely) being crooked.

There are great men of God in Nigeria like Dr D.K. Olukoya, E.A. Adeboye, W.F. Kumuyi, Pastor Okonkwo of TREM.
These men of God have never for once been dragged into financial or sexual controversies. God will continue to bless their ministries.
Apostle Suleiman is a philanthropist but I am not convinced he is free from ms othobo sexual stories.

Have you noticed that those men of God you mentioned keep mute on pressing national matters?

Let them dare challenge the powers that be and watch their names stained with allegations.

Kudos to Apostle Suleiman for been a voice for the Christians against Northern madness

Same with Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor, his piercing comments against Buhari and the heartless Northern elements during the mass killings in the North after 2011 elections made him a target of APC .

Cork your gun, shoot me, call me names. I will say this and i know it will touch many nerves.

Majority of Pastors are Criminals, Hipocrites, Deceitful and Greedy. They all claim to be called not because of their services to humanity but because of the offering and tithe they enjoy. If you doubt ask the following questions:

1) They ALL claim God called them. Who has ever been a witness or who has God directed to go tell them to become Pastors.

2) If there was no Tithe and Offerings involved will most of them still be pastors?

3) If truly they are called to serve, why do they always breakout of a particular church to go form theirs.

4) Why do they talk as if their prayers will automatically vanish people's problems when in fact they equally have their own problems.

5) Why has Prosperity preaching become the order of the day as against Salvation.

6) Why do they brainwash their followers to think Pastors are Perfect beings.

7) Why have they only chosen verses in the Bible that suits them and hide the verses that goes against their practices.

8 ) Why can't they instruct members to distribute their offerings and tithes to orphanages, hospitals, old people's home and others who are truly in need as against threatening and cursing members who haven't paid their tithes and offerings to the church.

9) Why build schools, buy jets and cars with poor members money who will NEVER use any of those items.

10) If truly you call on God and believe in Him, why use Security guards to seclude yourself from your followers?

IF YOUR PASTOR MAKES YOU BELIEVE IT IS ONLY WHEN YOU PRAY THROUGH HIM BEFORE GOD ANSWERS YOUR PRAYERS THEN YOU HAVE BEEN BRAINWASHED.

You made some points tho, but most are lopsided

Aid should be institutionalised in churches especially for the sake of accountability. Secondly applying wisdom to interpersonal relationships as the Bible said give no place to the devil, choose carefully who your friends are and who you friendly with and be extra careful in the choice of who to be friendly with. Wisdom is key in all dealing as a minister be it pastor or imam.

Joseph Prince's teaching on fleeing sexual immorality will be help for here. According to him, the problem with most of us is that we're not fleeing. Run! Then he went practical. In his ministry, he doesn't encourage male ministers to counsel females since he personally do not do that. They have capable females. Then he gave an example of fleeing, maybe after service you enter your car and about to leave, a very attractive lady comes to you and request for a lift since you're going the same direction. What you need to do is you can compliment her like, you're very beautiful and attractive but I can't afford to give you a ride home. Here's money for your transport. Sometimes it starts from innocent intentions. What if someone take a pics The world won't want to hear. We're all red blooded men. It's no easy but as exalted ministers, they need to take their game to a higher level.

As beautiful as ur write up looks, I expect U to also know that scandal is an obvious part of any fast growing ministry or Minister.
The fact that there are many fake Prophets all around us can not be over emphasized. But, the fact remains that the taller any "True" Man of God grows in the ministry, the more people U get involved with ( both real and fake followers), then, the more vulnerable the Minister becomes to scandals. Scandal is a huge part of a rapidly growing Church or Minister. Its unavoidable.

I like this. Best of all, cut down on this prosperity preaching and preach the truth. When you keep saying things people want to hear that appeals to their self-conceit instead of using the Word to convict them of sin and engender repentance and a close walk with God,the church bloats, and only dead things bloat. When the hard, Elijah-like truth is blared from the pulpit, the number of people will reduce, and as well the chances of evil people trying to pull the man of God down. that's of course if the man is born again and sincere.

Avoid women matters let your wife handle it. Anything that has to do with ladies, married women, single women either in counselling, assisting financial or otherwise, as a man of God your wife must be the one to handle it to avoid stories that touch or do it in such a way that your wife is in the know of every. To avoid their matter is the wisdom to stay off those scandals...

The Bible said get wisdom and in all thy getting get understanding,
It also says wisdom is the principal thing...NOT anointing.

Women are the easiest tool in the hand of the enemy to bring down men of God and destroy great and mighty destinies and that has always been the case right from the garden of Eden. They are usually more than men in the churches, so dealing with them with strict discipline is the best way so as not to give the enemy any opportunity.

More often than not they are very susceptible to the enemy manipulation, that's why many great men of God in Nigeria will never have a lady secretary.Never.in
Some churches, women will not be allowed to even sit in the front row before them begin tempt the pastor while he is preaching by opening leg and cutting eyes or otherwise.

You can never tell when they will become willful tools in the hand of the enemy.

this is beautiful!

Another important way that pastors can avoid scandal is to come clean with the money.

Set up an audit team, standard approval procedure, double level authorization, periodic statements and releases etc.

It is so so immoral to collect offerings and tithes and "seeds" and "first fruits" from parishioners and at the end, these guys have only vague idea how much was collected or what the funds were used for!!

Should the church not have in place a mechanism to inform the members monthly, weekly etc about; total collections, operational costs, expenses, remittance to head quarters, acquisitions, savings and balance brought forward? And if the church took a bank loan, should the members not have an idea of the loan amount, current balances, repayment, past dues, tenure and purpose??

That all churches keep the bulk of their financial activities away from their members is the very reason why I am a happy atheist and consider church a kind of ponzi scheme!!!
