Vio and Road Safety are nice guys, if you have a good approach, they could let you off for 2k on a serious offense. But if customs hold you, especially if you are travelling on a road like Benin-ore or Abuja-lokoja, you will curse yourself for even leaving the house that day.. and they are always heavily armed.

its officers are required to wear uniforms . But since the CGC
is not a serving customs officer the senate lacks the vires to
force him to wear any uniform. “ The suit challenging the
legal validity of Col . Hameed Ali ’ s appointment has been

appoint a non - customs officer to head the customs service
