These states are blessed with large land mass but the question is what has been the positive output to the dwindling economy of this country? Because as far as I can remember lagos is the state with the smallest land mass in nigeria but they are generating high revenue. The NIGER-DELTA with their small land mass is the countries source of wealth. Why are these northern areas with large land mass not used for agriculture and RANCHES to boost the economy of the nation?

UNFRUITFUL LARGE LAND MASS

As usual, the ataché by force yoots are already wailing on behalf of the Niger Delta when no one asked them to. cheesy

I guess they feel slighted by the title of the thread considering he size of their whole five villages put together. cheesy

Persecution complex ti take over .

They Keep talking about parasitism when they couldn't state exactly what they contribute to the country's economy in a thread dedicated to that; rather, they cursed, wailed, and cursed some more. No doubt, those are the things they contribute to the economy in no small measure.. . Oh, and tears as well.. Ain't that something! cheesy

Amazing that the tribe that don't contribute anything, not even a good environment for others to thrive, are the ones that scream parasitism at the slightest opportunity.

Their region is so fuuckked up, nobody, not even they, want to live there.

No northern state is better than any SE State in Human Developmen Index. Is it Literacy rate, health, Wealth distribution etc
how can a region with IDP Camps, low literacy rate, acute poverty, Polio epidemics, Backward states, Boko haram haven, etc be better than South East? Joker.

Coming from a lady whose tiny 5 states aren't even enough for their, what, 50-60 million population. To worsen the issue the tiny land is prone to erosion. grin

Little wonder they are scattered in every nook and cranny of the country.

You not only need the oil from Niger Delta but also the lands in the north and west to live on.

Yet, northern states are performing better than you where it is needed most?

Its like saying because china have a huge of number educated folks and geniuses, they are better than america.

Ogbeni, northern states are lesser parasite on south south oil compared to south east and facts have shown that.
That's what started the arguement. Disprove it or shut the fhuck up.

you just ended up saying nothing, tell me 15 states in the north that their IGR is over 2billion monthly.
But they swallow 65% of Federal allocation, have any northern state being an NDDC State, have they contributed atleast one naira to national purse? Even during regionalism, they were the poorest region.
Ebonyi state Monthly Allocation is just 900
million naira, not even up to a billion YET Ebonyi beats majority of Northern states in Human development index. Swerve abeg
