1. you can appreciate the danger - cobras spit so they don't need to bite to cause harm
2. the need to tell a doctor the particular specie for treatment purposes

there are only very few species of snakes we don't have in Nigeria. From spitting cobra to black mamba, rock python to saw scaled viper. Rattlesnake is actually a type of viper. The few we don't have are eastern brown snake, King snake, taipan, inland taipan, anaconda, King cobra...to mention a few
