Instead of you to task your govt on improving the lot of the growing majority poor you are on support of sweeping them out of view.

Black man's wickedness has no parallel
I don’t really understand your comment. Are you talking about government "improving the lot of the growing majority poor" in general or you are referring to the people in Otodo Gbame. Kindly clarify!
If you are referring to Otodo Gbame, it then confirms that have not been to the place and do not know anything about the place. The question is what exactly the government is going to improve on in that place?. is it to build more shanty houses there? Or government should electrify the shanty houses there? Better still, are you saying the government should construct roads around the shanties. Maybe you should try to live with your family in a shanty house floating on water, without proper sanitation and lack of clean water only then you will understand the hazards involved. Again, always do your research commenting. “Black man mentality”!!!

This is the problem for the federal government, not Lagos.

You don't get it. Do you? Grassroot governance starts from the local government. It is not just the FG. The three tiers have a duty to the masses. Especially the state. We are running a federal system, not unitary.

Nobody should be rendered homeless without proper provision for their wellbeing. Even if they build a house on top Aso Rock. Government is for the people, not the other way around. angry

Black people stop being short sighted and naive...the land is prime property, the most expensive pieces of real estate in Africa! Careful management of that land will create so many jobs for lagosians and otodo gbame people..yes it looks wicked but the end will bless more people than have been displaced...take Maroko for example...imagine if Maroko was left the way it was...will any of you pray to live there? Don"t use short sightedness and emotional nonsense to create poverty.

Shut it.
